They killed that beautiful gorilla.

I've always loved unfairly maligned animals; gorillas, wolves, you name it.

So far, the only punishment handed down in this fiasco was to the one creature who committed no wrongdoing. Shit, we humans do love to dodge blame, don't we?

Question about moon-landing deniers: Why is it so all-fire important to them to believe that we

never landed on the moon, and instead just faked the whole thing?

Why do so many of them devote their lives to spreading, believing, and defending such an absurd idea?

Friday Night Beer-Buzz. All out of wine tonight. Need some Lounge vibes...

Got a death notice today from the family member of a patient. Just date of death, no cause yet.

Also (Jesus, also!...) diagnosed a patient today with Stage IV chronic kidney disease. We're getting her right in to treatment with a nephrologist. I had my staff burning up the phone lines to get her an opening. I held her hand for a while as she cried; told her she is going to be taken care of. She was smiling by the time she left.

I'm futzed that I don't have enough booze on hand to get really good and smashed...
