Anybody Want To Take Guess At When The Rubes Will Finally Get It ??? - And By Rubes...

I DO NOT mean southern, rural, or uneducated... there are plenty of rubes on our side of the ledger.

Like anybody who believed our school teachers... of which I was one...

And those that bought into the American system of government.

Apparently... I was one of both.

“A CPC [crisis pregnancy center] told me that birth control is a mini abortion every month,” writes one woman on a new Tumblr dedicated to collecting the stories of women who have been lied to by anti-choice crisis pregnancy centers.

“The CPC counselor told me I’d get breast cancer if I had an abortion,” writes another.

And another: “The CPC told me I would become infertile if I had an abortion.”

And another: “They told me condoms have holes and birth control causes cancer.”

Four women, four lies. But because these deceptive practices are widespread, there are many other women with personal stories of how these anti-choice counseling centers tried to use medical misinformation and antiabortion sermonizing to mislead them about the full range of their reproductive healthcare choices.

Ironic... We Are Getting Close Again... And Need To Heed THESE Words...

Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.

Now we are engaged in a great civil war, testing whether that nation, or any nation so conceived and so dedicated, can long endure. We are met on a great battlefield of that war.

We have come to dedicate a portion of that field, as a final resting place for those who here gave their lives that that nation might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this.

But, in a larger sense, we can not dedicate, we can not consecrate, we can not hallow this ground. The brave men, living and dead, who struggled here, have consecrated it, far above our poor power to add or detract. The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here, but it can never forget what they did here.

It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced. It is rather for us to be here dedicated to the great task remaining before us—that from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they gave the last full measure of devotion—that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain—that this nation, under God, shall have a new birth of freedom—and that government of the people, by the people, for the people, shall not perish from the earth.

That's a lot of death, and billions in destruction...

If we cannot make that charge... maybe we could have them pay a hydrocarbon disaster tax.

Storm costs 8 Billion... That becomes their debt.

In an interview with The Washington Post, Attorney General Eric Holder implied that even though he doesn’t agree with reporter Glenn Greenwald’s actions, he wouldn’t prosecute him.

After stating that the Justice Department has not given up its efforts to repatriate Edward Snowden, Holder said that the department is not, however, planning to take action against Greenwald.

He said:

Unless information that has not come to my attention is presented to me, what I have indicated in my testimony before Congress is that any journalist who’s engaged in true journalistic activities is not going to be prosecuted by this Justice Department. … I certainly don’t agree with what Greenwald has done. … In some ways, he blurs the line between advocate and journalist. But on the basis of what I know now, I’m not sure there is a basis for prosecution of Greenwald.


While Holder’s statement doesn’t indicate an overwhelming support of freedom of the press, it does express an awareness that Greenwald’s actions were journalistic. Perhaps the most troubling implication, though, is that the prosecution of Greenwald is even a possibility.

Greenwald, who currently lives in Brazil and has said he fears coming to the United States, responded to Holder’s statement in an email:
