Beausoleil
Beausoleil's JournalChip Taylor and "Wild Thing"
Story behind the song:
Chip with Carrie Rodriguez:
I love everything that Chip and Carrie have done together. Their version of Wild Thing on their album "Live from the Ruhr Triennale" is spectacular, but it's not on youtube.
I'm sure everyone has their favorite cover but I give props to the master.
Linda Ronstadt with Eagles - Silver Threads & Golden Needles
Good quality video.
I love Linda, always have. The first album of hers I purchased was "Don't Cry Now" when it first came out, this song had me hooked.
The Eagles were the first band I saw in concert, with the same lineup as in this video.
A few years later I saw them again but with Linda. It was fantastic. Joe Walsh was with them by this time and Bernie was gone.
Great performance here with Bernie on lead guitar and harmony.
Joni Mitchell - Urge for Going (Live 1966)
This is gorgeous.
Her bandmates know they're in the presence of greatness. Jimmy Driftwood's expression is priceless.
Charley Crockett - "Killers of the Flower Moon" (Official Video)
One of my all-time favorite albums
I know she's controversial but this album is a masterpiece!
I have never seen any tracks posted individually so here's the whole album.
It's really an all-star endeavor with folks like Levon Helm, Taj Mahal, Doc Watson, Uncle Tupelo, Alison Krauss, Albert Lee, Norman Blake and Bernie Leadon credited, to name a few.
It's really worth a listen if you like traditional folk and bluegrass.

Neil Young - I'm the Ocean (official Audio)
Jack White - Van Lear Rose
This is fantastic.
He had a special relationship with Loretta Lynn.
Rock, Salt and Nails
Great Utah Philips song, covered many times.
Tyler Childers does it justice
But I love Buddy and Julie Miller's version. Beautiful harmonies and great production.
