pennylane100's JournalI still love Bernie
and Hillary ran a good campaign. We have to stop fighting over this and unite in destroying the Trump presidency and republican control of the house and senate. These are our real problems.
Just sent of the following letter to the NYT about their criticism of Hillary.
I cannot believe that NYT would expect its reader's to pay for such "Yellow Journalism. Here is an older critique of this so called "writer's" work: http://www.cjr.org/behind_the_news/wrong_wrong_wrong_wrong_wrong.php. Is the Old Grey Lady losing her marbles.
This was posted to the following article: http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/07/style/hillary-clinton-hand-on-heart-michelle-obama.html?login=email , on,their site, it has not been approved for publication yet.
Yes,
He may not have won the election but he can be thanked for the progressive party platform. It is an outstanding achievement and he deserves all our thanks.
I wonder if there has ever been a legal challenge to allowing unelecteed Super delegates
to have a role in choosing our candidate. It seems ridiculous to me and defeats the purpose of a candidate winning by getting the most votes.
A clip from The Daily show to brighten your day.
http://www.recordnet.com/article/ZZ/20160216/BUSINESS/302169929/-1/feedsI have just joined an ever expanding group here on DU,
yes, I have been banned from the Hillary group. I knew my post was very closed to being unacceptable but the hostility shown in the post I responded to apparently clouded my judgement. I did not realize I was replying to a Hillary forum post but I did not often post there anyway.
The one thing that bothered me was that while my post was in poor taste, the OP that started the thread was, again in my opinion, just as nasty. It seems there are two very different standards in who and how we discuss our candidates. FYI the original post was
"Bernie Sanders is currently the beneficiary of an anti-Hillary Clinton ratfucking assault that would make Donald Segretti
cringe. How can you possibly say he has clean hands in this matter?"
I will not donate to them until the primary has been decided.
Regardless of who our democratic candidate is, we need Planned Parenthood for all those who do not have access to health care. However, until then, I will only give to Bernie. We will never get to single payer without him.
However, if Hillary wins, we must support her as the alternative is just horrible to think about. Trump or Cruz must not be elected under any circumstances. Plus, Hillary would probably make a decent president and we will finally have a woman as our leader. Not as good as having Bernie but she is a lot more qualified than the freak show that has now taken over the GOP.
