So now that he's sanctioned for bribery and influence peddling, if Delyan Peevski demands that his D.C. lobbyists at BGR Group repay the $180k he gave them since the November election to work out "issues in the US," they wouldn't even be allowed to oblige.


I also liked the bombshell revelation that Vassil Bojkov plans to bribe Bulgarians to create a channel for the Kremlin to influence the Bulgarian gov't. Now that Bojkov's new political party (Bulgarian Summer) is sanctioned, how will Russia support it? Winter has come for Bojkov.

Under agreement, Hodgkins will admit that he knew he wasn’t allowed to be in the building and entered the Capitol with the intent of obstructing an official proceeding.

Hodgkins said he understood the sentencing guidelines to the best of his ability, his lawyer joked that’s all anyone can do. (The guidelines are very confusing!)

Moss asks if Hodgkins understands the max sentence for the crime he's pleading guilty to is 20 years in prison, Hodgkins says he does. Keep in mind he's likely to face much less than that, the judge is now making sure he understands how the sentencing guidelines work

Feds oppose pretrial release of Capitol rioter Ryan Samsel, saying he has a "a pattern” of “choking and beating women to the point of loss of consciousness” in addition to assaulting a Capitol Police officer.
