If Trump can do it...
Daily Mail: MTG cheated on Husband with "polyamorous tantric sex guru"
Controversial conspiracy congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene cheated on her husband with a polyamorous tantric sex guru, DailyMail.com has learned.
Then after ending her affair with him, the mom-of-three moved on to a gym manager behind her husband's back.
But despite the tawdry flings, Taylor Greene stuck with her husband Perry as she made her unlikely rise that has turned her into the most talked-about Republican in Washington, D.C.
Neither man denied the affairs when approached by DailyMail.com.

Graham blames Capitol Police for not using lethal force on more rioters
Source: NBC News
Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., a close ally of Trump, told reporters that he believes "there's more votes for acquittal after today than there was yesterday" after the House manager's gripping presentation on Wednesday.
"Because hypocrisy is pretty large for these people, standing up to, you know, rioters when they came to my house, Susan Collins' house, I think this is a very hypocritical presentation by the House," Graham said.
He also blamed Capitol Police officers for not having used lethal force against more rioters.
"I got mad. I mean, these police officers had every right to use deadly force. They should have used it," he said. "The people in charge of securing the Capitol let the country down."

AstraZeneca says vaccine against new Covid variants may take six months
Source: The Guardian
AstraZeneca has said it could take between six and nine months to produce Covid-19 vaccines that are effective against new variants of the coronavirus, and begin administering them to the public.
The companys vaccine, developed jointly with scientists at the University of Oxford, remains effective against the original virus and at least one variant, first discovered in Kent, England. But preliminary findings in a small-scale trial prompted South Africa to limit its use while it ascertains its efficacy against the variant that emerged there.
A six-month turnaround for an updated vaccine would represent a vast improvement over traditional vaccine development timelines.
Work on the variants hasnt started today, it started weeks and months ago, as soon as those new variants were identified and we are aiming to be in the clinic in the spring, with next generation vaccines for the new variants, said Sir Mene Pangalos, executive vice-president, BioPharmaceuticals R&D at AstraZeneca.

Impeachment managers plan to zero in on Trump's lack of remorse today
Source: CNN
The House impeachment managers plan to conclude their case against former President Trump on Thursday by zeroing in on Trumps lack of remorse following the deadly attack and going further into the role he played, according to senior aides on the impeachment team.
The managers also intend to examine the harm that the attack caused to the people in the Capitol, including beyond just the physical scars, the aides said.
They will discuss the legal issues surrounding the case, according to the aides, in what will likely be a prebuttal to the arguments they expect to hear from Trumps legal team when the defense presentation begins.
The aides would not get into specifics on the evidence they plan to present today, or whether they will show any additional new video of the Capitol riots.

Justice Department says an Oath Keepers leader waited for Trump's direction before Capitol attack
Source: CNN
(CNN)The Justice Department is now making clear that a leader among the Oath Keepers paramilitary group -- who planned and led others in the Capitol siege to attempt to stop the Biden presidency -- believed she was responding to the call from then-President Donald Trump himself.
"As the inauguration grew nearer, [Jessica] Watkins indicated that she was awaiting direction from President Trump," prosecutors wrote in the filing Thursday morning.
This is the most direct language yet from federal prosecutors linking Trump's requests for support in Washington, DC, to the most militant aspects of the insurrection.
Previously, the Justice Department has somewhat held back on linking Trump's words so closely to the extremist group's actions during the riot. At least four defendants this week have argued in court they followed Trump's direction to go to the Capitol building on January 6.

Exclusive: Dozens of former Republican officials in talks to form anti-Trump third party
Source: Reuters
(Reuters) - Dozens of former Republican officials, who view the party as unwilling to stand up to former President Donald Trump and his attempts to undermine U.S. democracy, are in talks to form a center-right breakaway party, four people involved in the discussions told Reuters.
The early stage discussions include former elected Republicans, former officials in the Republican administrations of Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush and Trump, ex-Republican ambassadors and Republican strategists, the people involved say.
More than 120 of them held a Zoom call last Friday to discuss the breakaway group, which would run on a platform of principled conservatism, including adherence to the Constitution and the rule of law - ideas those involved say have been trashed by Trump.
The plan would be to run candidates in some races but also to endorse center-right candidates in others, be they Republicans, independents or Democrats, the people say.

Murkowski: I don't know how Trump could be elected again

Sen. Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska) said on Wednesday that she couldnt imagine that former President Trump would be elected again after voters see the details and new footage of the Capitol attack.
After the American public sees the full story laid out here ... I dont see how Donald Trump could be reelected to the presidency again, Murkowski told reporters.
Murkowskis comments come as House impeachment managers are hours into their opening presentations.
On Wednesday, impeachment managers showed never-before-seen security footage of lawmakers evacuating the Capitol, rioters breaking into the building, and close calls for Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) and Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.).

Facebook to pilot new ways to reduce political content
Source: Politico
Facebook said Wednesday that it will begin testing ways to lessen the amount of political content its U.S. users see in the coming weeks the next stage in CEO Mark Zuckerbergs plan to turn down the temperature of online debates after January's deadly Capitol siege.
The social networking giant announced in a blog post that as a first step it will experiment with ways to limit the reach of political content that appears on Facebook news feeds in Canada, Brazil and Indonesia, with the U.S. soon to follow.
The company offered few if any concrete details of how these new steps would work. But its previous efforts in recent months have drawn complaints from political campaigns and grassroots activist groups, which say Facebook is undermining crucial tools they use to raise money and attract supporters.
Democratic lawmakers have called for Facebook to take more aggressive action to limit how its algorithms recommend and amplify political content after January's violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. Participants in the riot used a variety of mainstream and fringe social media platforms to plan and promote the assault.
