Welcome to the event that makes your pre-Halloween celebration the joyous occasion that it certainly is, you ghosts and goblins, you… It's time for The 11th Annual Late H. Lee Atwater Award for Right Wing Evil! (Insert evil, echoing cackle here.)
This year, with all that we've suffered under so far, there is a special meaning to these festivities. And the circumstances have yielded quite a collection of evil actors too chose from, a veritable bumper crop of despicable Right Wing characters, delivered straight from Central Casting. A true collection of real life HORROR. (More evil, echoing cackling). Has there ever been a more horrifying collection of Scary Monsters hellbent on ruining everyone's lives before?
Why do I ask that question every year? They're always bad. But now, they seem so much worse.
As you know, the winner who will be chosen by all of you and will be announced at Midnight ET on Halloween, when the Rotting and Desiccated Corpse of the Late H. Lee Atwater will rise from his grave in South Carolina and hand out the award with his boney hands. That's tonight, of course.
Last year's winner, as you may remember, was that collection of racist, sexist and misogynistic miscreants known as 'The Whole Damn Basket of Deplorables,' and the recipient of the Third Annual Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney Lifetime Achievement Award for Right Wing Evil was Karl "Svengali" Rove. Let's give others a chance this year, shall we? Tonight, before the tolling of the Witching Hour that will signal another glorious Halloween, we'll all place our votes for the people that you have nominated.
After what we've all had to endure this year, it may seem as if the outcome will be obvious, but we have so many horrid little evil creatures to choose from. Use your vote well. Also, I'd like to take this time to announce that we'll be awarding the Fourth Annual Richard Bruce "Dick" Cheney Lifetime Achievement Award for Right Wing Evil to Bill "Rapey" O'Reilly. Seeing how the award is shaped, perhaps he'll use it on himself... But that's wishful thinking, of course.

'Black on Black' crime is nothing more than false idea, hatched by white supremacists, as an attack on black people.
Black On Black Crime Rate Is Far Lower Than White On White Crime
A new government reports corrects a popular myth about Black people.

One of the many efforts by White racists to demonize Black people has been stopped dead in its tracks, thanks to some updated statistics provided by the federal government. Unlike what appears to be popular opinion, the rate of violent Black-on-Black crime is lower than how often White criminals victimize other White people.
To be sure, “the rate of white-on-white violent crime (12.0 per 1,000) was about four times higher than black-on-white violent crime (3.1 per 1,000),” according to new the Bureau of Justice Statistics’ (BJS) “Race and Hispanic Origin of Victims and Offenders, 2012-2015” report published last Thursday.
Research for the report was conducted over a four-year period during which “U.S. residents experienced 5.8 million violent victimizations each year.”
Still, not surprisingly, those findings didn’t stop former controversial (read: racist) White House adviser Sebastian Gorka from sticking to his White supremacist script on Monday when he told Sinclair Broadcast stations, “Our big issue is black African gun crime against black Africans.”

The so-called Black on Black crime argument has resurfaced lately in an attempt to delegitimize the NFL kneeling protest of the national anthem, which began to highlight social injustices against Black people.
It appeared as if Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill, who is Black, also missed the BJS report.
“One of the most dramatically difficult things to fathom in this country is the amount of lives lost — Black lives lost — as a result of Black-on-Black violence,” Hill said Saturday in an appeal for the NFL kneeling protest of the national anthem to be refocused. “In the same year that we experienced about 259 police officer shootings of Blacks in 2015, there were 6,000 Black lives lost to murders from Black people.”
