We just lost America's greatest spy, Chuck Barris

May he rest in power.

I'm looking at Cheetolini as a test, whether or not we can preserve our own liberty...

Even our own system of government.

Republicans really want us to fail that test.

Right now, they're all working from in modes, between actively hostile and passively negligent, against America as a whole.

Trump, because he's so both incompetent and corrupt that he utterly has no concept of how incompetent and corrupt that he actually is, is a litmus test. People who support him are either doing because they don't know better or because they believe that they can get something out of him. Both ideas are folly, because he's only in it for himself.

Active resistance is the only proper response. We all know that. Sooner or later, more and more will as well.

I'm watching Mourning Joe here...

And the first thought in my head is wondering how long Bob Woodward has been senile.

We shouldn't be going backwards...

30 years ago, when I was stationed in South Korea, we had an incident which was basically a precipitation to World War III. North Korean spies had blown up a potted plant in Kimpo airport and of course they had killed a few unfortunate people as well.

Little did anyone know at the time, the South Korean military wanted to invade North Korea in retaliation. If it wasn't for the good graces and the common sense of the US military commander, the entire Korean Peninsula probably would have been wiped off the face of the earth.

He promised the South Korean generals
that, were they to invade North Korea, they would do it without the presence any US military forces in South Korea, because he would have removed all of the troops from the peninsula.

Obviously, disaster was averted when South Korea back down. Kind of funny that I'd have to look back on the Reagan years as the good old days of common sense in US military and diplomatic relations.

Unfortunately today we're dealing with the likes of Oil Man Rex basically thinks that he can do anything he damn well pleases, like threaten the North Koreans with military action.

Somebody should tell this guy that the North Koreans get off on is kind of attention. Basically what you have to do is ignore them whenever they talk nonsense, like they do every year during Team Spirit. That's just how things are in Korea, you deal with the bluster, you bitch, moan and complain. But you don't blow each other up. When you start threatening war, at least on the southern side of the DMZ, you start sounding like the biggest nut job on the planet, one who is about to begin a World War III over harsh language.

These people are absolutely scary, and this is the reason why amateurs shouldn't be playing in the big boy pants. Military action is not an option against North Korea, it hasn't been an option for at least the last 70 years. We have our troops there to prevent war from happening.

Someone needs to grab a hold Oil Man Rex and shake some sense into this fool before he starts having us all glow-in-the-dark.

This shit is insane.
