This Christmas...

December 10, 2020

Too soon.

So this morning, as I was pouring some radical liberal almond milk onto my radical liberal Cheerios

I was thinking to my radical liberal self, "Gee, Socialism is great, but it can sure be better."

Yeah, sure, it's not like I want to be living in a replica of Versailles, with my own private Bombardier jet and plenty of opportunities to wrangle some insider trading, because I'm married to the owner of the NYSE and can hold off a criminal investigation by the DoJ with simply paying a million bucks to the RNC, but I've got a pretty good life as it is and I do think that it can be better for all of us.

Yes, I'm grateful for my radical liberal socialist military pension, Social Security, and for Medicare and the VA healthcare keeps me and wifey with a roof over our heads, food in our bellies, the lights on and the ability to have a retirement without needing to live out of a cardboard box. Same goes for some of my other relatives, including those who have UAW pension plans as well. Due to various subsidies and taxes, we have clean water and drivable roads, a public education system and emergency services.

This sure beats needing to be trickled down upon from government subsidized billionaires with blank expressions, wispy hair and limited vocabularies.

But, in spite of that, we could all stand to suffer under way more radical liberal socialism than we already are, it's only fair. As a radical liberal Black Power socialist, I would also love to see the otherwise socialism infused police departments around the country tamp down their penchant for gunplay. Dem bullets ain't good for our health, especially since they're suspiciously attracted to melanin. So, I'm all for ending the drug war, private prisons, civil asset forfeiture and qualified immunity, while mandating nationwide liability coverage as an employment condition for cops. Let's see how long bad risks stay employed, if they can't pay their jacked up premiums.

And what self-respecting radical liberal socialist wouldn't mind seeing the upper marginal tax rate get boosted back up to 91%, as it was under that radical liberal socialist commie-loving president, Dwight Eisenhower? Not to mention the capitalist corporate taxes, as well.

There's a whole lot that we fellow radical liberal socialists can do to fundamentally change America to a more egalitarian, inclusive, productive, and secure society. A society where no one needs to go bankrupt from having an education or needing healthcare. Where homelessness can be eliminated and workplaces both safe and providing good, livable wages. Pay your fair share, guys.

That's my radical liberal socialist dream... A nightmare for government subsidized out capitalist billionaire overlords with blank expressions, wispy hair and limited vocabularies, apparently. Especially since they all expect the rest of us radical liberal socialists to lick the heels of their Louboutins and be grateful for the privilege.
