I was going to make this week’s post asking for support for NM Otero County Commissioer DUer StephanieDuBois about her truly horrible, terrible, no-good, very bad opponent but I just got a phone call from a man who says he did an exposé on her opponent. Probably nothing but ?

Instead I want to reveal to you a threat to our entire nation, but who is part of Stephanie’s opponent’s ‘organized crime syndicate’, here in Otero County. David Clements is also a threat to other DUer’s communities directly (and to me personally). I guarantee he has been in the community of other DUers.

Instead of trickling down from former President Donald Trump's Twitter account, the movement has gone grassroots, with election denial influencers traveling the country to share their conspiracy theories with politicians and voters.



NPR's Investigations team used social media and news reports to track four key figures in the movement: MyPillow CEO and longtime Trump supporter Mike Lindell, …and former law professor David Clements. Here are four takeaways from that reporting… Over the course of the 18 months since Jan. 6, 2021, the four election denialists NPR tracked have been slated to speak at at least 308 events in 45 states and the District o Columbia. The events were often small, held in restaurants and churches, backyards and community centers…”

David Clements is a friend of Couy ‘the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat’ Griffin of Cowboys for Trump, J6 convicted Defendant, and like the snake oil sales men they are, they ‘sold’ our other two county commissioners on the ‘fake election audit’ which result in ‘No fraud’ but cost the county taxpayers a pretty penny.

Clements advised a ‘firing squad’ approach during a supposedly neutral, non-partisan presentation (at Baptist church) during their attempt to solicit volunteers for the fake audit.

He falsely accused me of making threats to his family, making me a target to his supporters (the many who have provided him with over $300,000 for his scam). I was questioning how the fake audit contract was awarde, how the County Clerk and state audit the election and then he lied about me. Just a reminder of David Clement’s friend, Couy Griffin, as he travels the nation. He was banned by our Mescalero Tribe for inappropriate behavior. Does he know how many Confederate officers, soldiers or auxiliary are buried in any of our National Cemeteries (besides Confederate soldiers who died in custody)? None. Because they were not patriots of our nation; they were traitors. He’s a traitor.



Our county is a fire keg, the threats of violence so close, so real, so well documented that we Democrats have to acknowledge that the potential for civil war, for the next mass shooting is here. You can help.

Please support new DUer Stephanie DuBois as you have supported me for nearly 19 years!

I’ve run for office before with DU support-not just financial but moral support, tech support (my God, what would I do without OmahaSteve?), emotional, mental, and even spiritual) and I’m eternally grateful for that. I’m asking again for DU support.

I’m in the eye of the hurricane, ground zero in violent rhetoric, grifters & traitors like ‘Cowboys for Trump’ Couy Griffin, but we have even worse in David Clements…more info in the coming weeks.

While I’m not running for office this election I recruited my friend and ‘partner in mischief’ for the past 20 years, Stephanie DuBois, to run for Otero County Commissioner and I’ll be asking for you to support this new DUer.

Two days ago Otero County Commission passed a resolution ‘Otero County is a Sanctuary for the Unborn.’ Truly horrible resolution but the GOOD NEWS:

Stephanie and I’ve been the lead organizers for the We Trust Women rallies since 2009 but we quit during Covid. A young woman called the newspaper a couple of months ago and was given my name. I told her I just couldn’t organize this year, she pleaded, I told her that if she would meet me at City Hall to fill out a permit (done as a courtesy but it ensures that we get all 4 corners of ‘our favorite intersection’ on the permit, and we get all 4 corners with no counter-protestors) and prepare a graphic with all the info, I would share it. It was incredibly electrifying. We got huge (for us) crowds at two rallies with a very diverse mix. Our group was mostly seniors, mostly Democrats….her group (she’s 22, gay, married, young mother) is young LGBTQ, some military (we have Holloman AFB here), far too many not registered to vote. We’ve organized into 4 teams to register voters at the only place we register more Dems and Independents , the barber shop that most minorities get their hair cut at (dangling p…). THEN, when our County proposed this resolution, we got many to come and speak out against the resolution …to no avail, but they attended their first-ever county commission meeting, they understand the need to elect Democrats up and down ballot.

I made the news chewing out Couy Griffin of Cowboys for Trump

I don’t know how to share the Tic Toc but here I am, briefly, on local news. PBS had their own story and included me. I was channeling the folks in the room, our folks.
