Calling it now- Trump will be impeached and removed immediately after the TaxScam passes

The foreseeability of harm is undeniable at this point. We are all in danger with Trump at the helm. And if the worst happens, Congress/Senate members who stood by and did nothing will be liable. I think most of them know that now.

Bill DeBlasio 2020? What do you think?

Here is his interview from this morning:

I think he could win.

Does anyone have tips on how to NOT get my emotions involved re: Trump?

Serious question. I'm so full of anger towards trump, his enablers, and defenders. I find myself yelling at the TV, yelling at pundits, etc. I have to separate myself somehow. But I don't know how. Taking a break from the news doesn't help because friends or family pull me right back in to the 24-7 reality show, and then I have to catch up with at least a dozen events that I missed during the brief break.

Is it even possible to remove my emotions while witnessing this slow motion train wreck? When it's still not clear that the election was even legitimate? I'm at a loss but I don't like feeling this way. It's taking a toll, mentally and physically.

Trying to understand the NFL boos: Do "fans" want players to be seen & not heard?

My first thought when the Cowboys were booed and criticized for taking a knee while standing for the anthem was that the fans were racist. But then why are racists going to see mostly black NFL teams?

Kirsten Powers (CNN) raised a good point just now: if fans had even a tiny amount of respect for these players, wouldn't they be curious about how the players feel and what their views are? Instead, these so called fans want the players to STFU and entertain them. To be seen but not heard. Really, to even die for their entertainment (CTE).

Nobody will know that a user is a Trump-enabling moron unless

that user ACTS like an Trump enabling moron. Some of you are really overthinking the rules. If someone voted Trump (or 3rd party) and now regrets it, they'll be just fine here unless they post obnoxious, anti-democratic, pro-Trump/pro-GOP bullshit. If the person can't resist smearing Hillary and other democrats, and on top of that admits to enabling Trump, then yes, they should go.

It's common sense, no need to overthink it.

What if Trump strikes a "deal:" Offers to resign in exchange for immunity?

for himself and his family?

That would not sit well with me, at all.

I think we need to have a plan ready in case the repubs try this. Trump should not be allowed to walk off into the sunset, with his criminal enterprises not only intact but prospering for the first time in decades due to the shady backroom deals and executive orders that he made during his fake presidency.

I've thought about it. My parents are from different countries

so I'm not sure what to expect. It seems like I'd get more useful information by buying tests for them.

Also, I had more interest in testing before the heavy handed, patronizing Ancestry.com ads started popping up on TV. It seems like they're really trying to target (exploit?) African Americans. Frankly, anyone whose ancestors were brutally kidnapped and brought to this country to be a slave should be granted an ancestry DNA kit free of charge, paid for by the U.S. government.

I think Reince Priebus and/or HR McMaster are the leakers. Maybe working with Pence to get Trump out

Priebus, McMaster, Pence, and possibly some others in the House or Senate are working together to speed along Trump's removal. Priebus can go on to be Pence's Chief of Staff. McMaster is on active duty and not necessarily there by choice. We've heard very little from him since his awkward defense of Trump's shady meeting with the Russians in the Oval Office.

All of the others, like Bannon, Spicer, Conway, etc, know they will be unemployable when Trump is removed. So I doubt it's any of them.
