Jane Austin
Jane Austin's JournalHey, thanks!
Your post reminded me to turn on my gas logs.
This is probably the last cool spell we'll have down here in Texas.
You are lucky to have such a good doctor you can talk to.
You have a lot to look forward to - San Diego is beautiful and spring weather and open windows are coming!
So glad your sense of humor is in good shape. Sure hope this gets resolved soon.
Take care.
I am so sorry you are suffering.
Are you in a city or in a small town?
If a city, there should be services you can use.
If not, for goodness sake, drink lots of fluids and try to eat well.
If you can't go to the doctor, at least call his or her office and let them know what's going on.
Just don't tell them about the city councilman you saw on tv, because they may think you are "just copying" what you saw. I know you're not, but sometimes busy doctors will just grab onto a convenient excuse and hang on. They like to get an answer, too.
Ask for a home health visit and a flu test. You need to eliminate the flu.
I think I've read that Advil and Aleve aren't good in this situation, so if you can, switch to Tylenol.
You may not be sick enough to call 911, but you are certainly sick enough to call you doctor!
A week is a long time to run a temperature.
Please stay in touch and let us know how you are doing;.
I've got the OP beat.
I have umpteen cable channels, Britbox, Acorn, Prime video, thousands of Audible books, Central Market and HEB to deliver my groceries, a large freezer, Amazon to deliver, and - Best of All - three Golden Retrievers!
God knows I am fortunate. I hope you are, too.
If all else fails, you can always meditate.
