SANDERS LEADS CLINTON OVER 2-TO-1 IN CALIFORNIA

SANDERS LEADS CLINTON OVER 2-TO-1 IN CALIFORNIA

Posted on May 8, 2016 by thepoliticalanalyzer

The following meticulous study considers the surprising number of New Voters who have registered to the Democratic Party and who have chosen to remain Unaffiliated.

In the opinion of the Secretariat of State and of some recently published studies, there was an increase of 185% of the members from January 2016, and to make matters worse, they are almost always Hispanics (in some counties the Hispanic Youth represents 98 % of New Voters). [1 ]

To carry out the analysis I considered Californians Census Data 2010, the Californian Secretary of State Data, to study the Past Elections and the Last Primaries I took as reference points The Green Papers and Dave Leip, to study the vote by ethnicity I studied multiple studies simultaneously to extrapolate exacts data: Gallup, UC Davis, Public Policy Polling, Pew Research. [2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

After collecting the material I have assigned the value of the parameters for each ethnic group and age group, matching the results. Finally I assigned the turnout for ethnicity, age, county and Party Affiliation.

PSA: Pay No Attention to Articles Claiming Clinton Leads in Oregon!

Public Service Announcement:
New Articles Claiming Clinton Leads
in Oregon Are Lies

Greetings, my friends! This is just a quick Math Vs. Media Public Service announcement — please pay no attention to the flood of “news” that is claiming that Clinton leads in the Oregon polls. All of them are based off of the same crappy survey — a crappy survey of a mere 304 “likely voters,” 2 of which said they weren’t voting, knocking that down to 302 people.

The survey does not even state that these 302 are democrats (the only group that can vote in the Oregon democratic primaries) and, because they’re listing the surveyed people as “likely voters,” not “registered voters,” one can only assume that the company, “DHM Research,” which conducted this “survey,” either
a.) Knows that some of them aren’t registered
or
b.) Doesn’t know whether they are registered or not.

Furthermore, the survey does not reveal its methodology — I’ve searched their website and can’t even find information about whether it was a landline, cellphone, or internet survey! (In their FAQ, they state that they use internet surveys & cell-phone surveys).

At the very least, even if we assume that the 302 people are registered democratic voters and that it was’t an internet survey, we’re looking at about a 9-10% margin of error (±7% for the sample size and ±2-3% for using cell-phones), which is more than the survey says Clinton leads by. Therefore, the survey could potentially mean the opposite of what it says it means. I have called “DHM Research” repeatedly to inquire further but they have not picked up.

Sanders allies plot post-primary war on Trump

Sanders allies plot post-primary war on Trump

Draft plan also proposes alternate 'convention' event for Bernie.

A group of Bernie Sanders staffers and volunteers is circulating a draft proposal calling on the senator to get out of the presidential race after the final burst of Democratic primaries on June 7, and concentrate on building a national progressive organization to stop Donald Trump.

Operating under the assumption that Sanders will win the California primary but still fall far short of amassing enough delegates to claim the Democratic nomination, the document calls for the Vermont senator to exit the race and launch an independent political group far larger than any other recent post-campaign political operations, such as those started by Howard Dean or Barack Obama.

The working title for the roughly 1,600-word document: “After Winning on June 7th Bernie Sanders Should Suspend his Campaign and Launch an Independent Organization to Defeat Donald Trump."

At the same time, people closer to Sanders and his campaign team have been holding their own big-picture conversations about the shape of the post-primary Sanders machine for months, zeroing in on specific questions in recent weeks about what the goals should be, and how it would work.

Democratic Convention Hosted by Republican Donors, Anti-Obamacare Lobbyists

Democratic Convention Hosted by Republican Donors, Anti-Obamacare Lobbyists

May 11 2016, 9:51 a.m.

THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY’S 2012 platform pledged to “curb the influence of lobbyists and special interests.” But the 2016 convention in Philadelphia will be officially hosted by lobbyists and corporate executives, a number of whom are actively working to undermine progressive policies achieved by President Barack Obama, including health care reform and net neutrality.

Some of the members of the 2016 Democratic National Convention Host Committee, whose job is to organize the logistics and events for the convention, are hardly even Democratic Party stalwarts, given that many have donated and raised thousands of dollars for Republican presidential and congressional candidates this cycle.

The composition of the 15-member Host Committee may appear out of sync with the rhetoric of Democratic presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Hillary Clinton, but the reality is that the party, in the form of the Democratic National Committee, has moved decisively to embrace the lobbying industry. In October 2015, DNC chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., reportedly huddled with dozens of lobbyists to plan the convention in Philadelphia, and provided the influence peddlers involved with a menu of offerings in exchange for donations. In February, news reports revealed that the DNC had quietly lifted the Obama-era ban on federal lobbyist donations to the party and convention committee.

Anna Adams-Sarthou, the communications director for the Philadelphia 2016 Host Committee, wrote in an email to The Intercept that she has “no concerns” about lobbyists participating in the effort, because “the Host Committee is a nonprofit entity that does not lobby.”

Clinton and the DNC Are Not Just Colluding — They’re Changing the Rules for Superdelegates

Clinton and the DNC Are Not Just Colluding — They’re Changing the Rules for Superdelegates

The award for most deliberate and egregious burying of a lead has just been handed out.

It goes to NBC News, for a story entitled, “Bernie Sanders Makes Things Awkward for Hillary Clinton’s DNC Takeover.”

Put aside for a moment that the story’s central premise is the uncritical repetition of a nonsense: the idea that a major-party convention can’t — as in literally cannot be — planned without a nominee being declared at least a month and a half in advance. We know that’s untrue because, up until a week ago, that’s exactly what the GOP was (with minimal public grousing by RNC Chair Reince Priebus) planning to do.

More importantly, in the context of Democratic National Committee rules — which, as DNC officials Luis Miranda and Debbie Wasserman Schultz have both explained to the media repeatedly, dictate that super-delegates cannot be tallied until July — there can be no doubt about which sentence in the above-cited NBC News story is the most important. It’s this one, about what the Clinton campaign and the DNC have been up to since April (more than three months prior to the Party’s late-July convention):

Don't forget: Sanders also won 15 delegates in Nebraska, tonight's primary a beauty contest

clip

Democrats also voted on Tuesday in a presidential "beauty contest" in Nebraska, although the delegates from that state were all previously assigned during a March 5 caucus. In that contest, Sanders won 15 pledged delegates, compared to 10 for Clinton

This lays to rest the imaginary meme floating though here that something other happened or happens.

We are still in a primary, and then we have a convention to go. I am, therefore,

hiding any General election posts here in this group. Such posts as Trump vs Clinton, or Trump in general, etc. It will make my life much easier to not look at this stuff, which is a distraction from our ongoing primary election.

Win, lose or draw tonight...We are pushing on to Kentucky, and Oregon and

California (where Bernie drew 21,000 to a rally in Sacramento today). I hope he wins big- the 64% he needs to possibly overtake Hillary is a steep hill to climb, make no mistake, and I don't know anyone who thinks it will happen.

That said, we are pushing on, to allow every voter to have a voice! Every vote will be counted.

Peace, Love, and Bernie Sanders!
