If by "easiest time to live in" you mean
we have the technology to make it better, faster, stronger, then, I agree. And with this technology comes an acute awareness of exactly what constitutes "easiest." Because we know what a unique, fragile planet we live on.
Humanity as a whole is experiencing existential grief and denial on Biblical proportions. We know climate change is a planetary threat to our species. We know this virus has shut down every nation's economy and is killing people the world over. We're witnessing social injustices in real time as several global human disasters unfold concurrently.
These are not easy times to live in at all. Cut yourself some slack, be grateful for what you have, and use that privilege and compassion to help build a better world.
