New Book: Why Trump Deserves Trust, Respect and Admiration

“Drawing upon exclusive interviews and exhaustive research, political analyst David King has compiled a complete and brilliantly accurate account of Donald Trump’s virtues and qualities. This is a refreshingly different biographical masterpiece.”

This book is full of blank pages. Despite years of research, we could not find anything to say on this subject, so please feel free to use this book for notes.

'White Prosperity Above Everything Else': NPR's Michele Norris Shreds 'Make America Great Again'

Norris argued that Trump's "Make American Great Again" slogan misses the mark for addressing current reality in the United States.

"In the phrase 'Make America Great Again' there's one word that if you are a person of color, that you sort of stumble over, and it's the word 'again'." Norris observed. "Because you're talking about going back to a time that was not very comfortable for people of color. They did not have opportunities, they were relegated to the back of the line."

"And this was a country that -- to be honest -- was built on the promise of white prosperity above everything else," she added. "And for a lot of people, when they hear that message, 'Make America Great Again,' deeply encoded in that message is a return to a time where white Americans can assume a certain amount of prosperity."

According to Norris, Trump's win was made possible by white people who feel like they are "not at the front of the line."

"And Donald Trump was able to tap into a message where people felt a lot of discomfort,"
she noted. "That is somewhat retrograde. I mean, fear is not our brand in America. And that is so much sort of the bright vein that ran though the campaign."

Republican pundit slams Trump: Tells all male panel they missed the forest for the trees

This Republican pundit has been calling a spade by its name throughout the election. As the media looks inward to their failures, she urges them to come clean.

Chuck Todd attempted to deflect some of the press’ dereliction on to Democratic and Republican actors trying to delegitimize the media. Nicolle Wallace did not want to entertain some false complexity for the problem.

“I think we’re staring at trees and missing the forest,” Wallace said. “We’ve just elected a man who bullies female reporters at his rally as an applause line. We have just elected a man who started a hot war with a female anchor instead of intending a debate she moderated. We are in a new place. And I don’t think it’s good. And I don’t think it has any parallels to the past. And I don’t think Trump needs the press. But I think he wants them like an addict craves their drugs.”

It is evident she was attempting to open up the discussion to be more reality based. But her statements were basically ignored. The purpose of Todd’s several panels was commendable. He wanted to examine why the media is held in such contempt and what they could do to improve it. Unfortunately, he failed miserably to have a serious discussion mostly because all his panels were insiders, predominantly white males of somewhat congruous viewpoints, a few white females scattered in, and one black man, the executive editor Dean Baquet of the New York Times, an establishment newspaper whose gravity gives its leader little leeway.

Amazing that MSNBC is what passes for a cable network that isn't in the tank for Trump.

Laura Ingraham and Howie Carr, conservative radio hosts who were supportive of Mr. Trump, roamed the crowd, with Mr. Carr posting on Twitter that his daughter asked Mr. Trump if she could be an intern in the White House. Mr. Trump’s two adult sons, Eric and Don Jr., posed for photographs. Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski from MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” were also there.
