Cornelius Marion took this picture of James Blight driving away from his neighbor's home where he tore down a chain-link fence with a stolen front-end loader and removed Joe Biden campaign signs in Haines City.

When the driver got to Adam Burgess’s house at 501 N. Third St., he stopped and pulled up some signs supporting Democrat Joe Biden’s presidential candidacy, then got back on the front-end loader and tore through the chain-link fence and gate, Marion said.

Police have determined that the $40,000 front-end loader was stolen from a construction site at West Main Street and U.S. 27, reports state.

Officers caught up with Blight, whose address on the affidavit is “at large,” at Hinson Avenue and South Third Street and arrested him on three felonies — trespass, criminal mischief and grand theft. If convicted, he faces up to 15 years in prison.

Rospotrebnadzor, Russia's health and consumer rights regulator, announced Tuesday that people everywhere in Russia must wear face coverings in public spaces, on public transportation, in parking lots and in elevators.

Nothing Left to Say

The polls continue to be remarkably stable. The two candidates are extremely well-known. We just have a week (at least) to wait.

..... There is too much to be angry about, but the anger is not interesting; it has matured to an urgent feeling that this simply must end. As my colleague Jordan Weissmann put it, “It feels like there’s so much going on, and just nothing really left to say about it.”

There is no more to see and no more to say. Everyone knows what they need to know. These two men are extremely well-known. Fifty million Americans have voted already, and we are all exhausted from cycling through manic news cycles that are taking us nowhere new. We are sicker, poorer, lonelier, and sadder. No relief bill appears to be in sight. Businesses will close and infections will rise until we end this. We have (at least) one anxious week to go before this interminable election is over. All there is to do now is vote.

Child Sex Trafficking Prosecutions Fall During Trump Administration
The latest available case-by-case federal government records show that in September 2020 federal prosecutors brought criminal charges against eleven (11) individuals for child sex traf­ficking under 18 USC 1591. Altogether in FY 2020, the federal government reports 180 new prosecutions where child sex trafficking was the lead charge. This is about the same number of criminal prosecutions as last year where there were 178 such prosecutions.

The number of prosecutions for child sex trafficking has significantly declined during the Trump Administration, after climbing steadily during the Obama years.
