Trump Slams Clinton: 'Only Thing She's Got Going Is The Women Card'

“I can tell you that if I go too presidential, people are going to be very bored,” the New York real estate baron told Fox News in an interview that will air on Saturday. The network released excerpts on Friday.

He went on to say that Clinton “is a person who’s got many, many flaws” and that she’s “the worst possible representative a woman can have,” as he shifted his focus away from Republican rivals and toward the Nov. 8 general election.

“The only thing she’s got going is the women card,” Trump said. “We call her ‘Crooked Hillary’ because she’s a crooked person. She’s always been a crooked person.”

Clinton said at an event on Friday in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania, that she would not respond to Trump’s comments about her.

The world already would be out of water if everyone ate like Americans

If the rest of the world ate like Americans, the planet would have run out of freshwater 15 years ago, according to the world’s largest food company.

In private, Nestle executives told U.S. officials that the world is on a collision course with doom because Americans eat too much meat, and now, other countries are following suit, according to a secret U.S. report titled “Tour D’Horizon with Nestle: Forget the Global Financial Crisis, the World Is Running Out of Fresh Water.”

Producing a pound of meat requires a tremendous amount of water because farmers use tons of crops such as corn and soy to feed each animal, which require tens of thousands of gallons of water to grow. It is far more efficient when people eat the corn or soy directly.

The planet is a on a “potentially catastrophic” course as billions of people in countries such as India and China begin eating more beef, chicken and pork like their counterparts in Western countries, according to the 2009 report released by Wikileaks and first reported by Reveal at The Center for Investigative Reporting in a cache of water-related classified documents. The Chinese now eat about half as much meat as Americans, Australians and Europeans, a figure that continues to rapidly rise as more Chinese are lifted out of poverty and into the middle class.

Grassley spits out the truth re: SCOTUS delay

Grassley told the activists that when someone asked him for an update on the nomination last week, he said that "an update would suggest that something has changed" and that he still intends to block any nominee until the next president takes office.

He said that preventing "another liberal" from joining the Supreme Court was necessary to keep "even the reasonable restrictions on abortion that have been enacted into law through the democratic process" from being "swept away." […]

"But we know that justices who embrace the view that the Constitution is a living document don't share that view that you and I share," he said. "The American people, through their elected representatives, should be making these policy decisions, not unelected judges. These are life-and-death issues that we're fighting for. They show just how important this fight over who's going to fill Scalia's seat is."

No more $400 million contracts for Rush Limbaugh

Rush Limbaugh's contract is up, his benefactors are broke, and his audience 'toxic.' Next?
Apr 16, 2016 10:01am HST by Hunter

Let us all take a moment to celebrate the fall of Rush Limbaugh, previous Republican kingmaker who is still filthy rich, thank you very much, but whose contract is up this year and whose previous radio benefactor is now teetering on the edge of penny-stock status. There won't be any more $400-million deals in Limbaugh's radio future.

The talker is facing ratings hurdles, aging demographics, and an advertising community that increasingly views him as toxic, thanks in part to his days-long sexist meltdown over Sandra Fluke in 2012. (He’s also stumbling through the GOP primary season.)

Concurrently, iHeartRadio’s parent company, iHeartMedia, is heading to court, teetering on bankruptcy. The once-dominant radio behemoth is saddled with $20 billion in debt, thanks to a misguided leveraged takeover engineered by Bain Capital in 2008, the same year the radio giant inked its disastrous Limbaugh deal.
