“An appeals court on Friday rejected one of the criminal counts against former Gov. Rick Perry but said he must face the other one in the abuse-of-power case against him,” the Houston Chronicle reports.
“Perry was indicted by a grand jury in 2014 after being accused of abusing his veto power to try to force out the Democratic Travis County district attorney in the wake of her messy drunken-driving arrest. The former governor, who is running for the GOP nomination for president, repeatedly failed in efforts get the indictment dismissed by state Judge Bert Richardson. He took his case to the 3rd Court of Appeals in Austin.”

10:52 p.m.: Authorities said they know the identity of the shooter but are withholding it so as not to "affect the integrity" of the investigation.
10:45 p.m.: He is a 58-year-old white male who was a theater patron fired multiple shots, said Col. Michael Edmonson of the Louisiana State Police. The shooter was acting alone and is deceased, he said. There were about 100 people inside at the time.

Remember Forbidden Planet? Trump isn't the conscience of the Republican party... he's the screaming, ranting, fully exposed and raw Id of the Republican party.
And much like the poor unsuspecting residents of Altair IV, he will wipe the Republican party as we know it off the map. Unlike that tempest tossed race, the party sees it coming, and knows that their only defense is a past denial of those characteristics... and that past does. Not. Exist. They'll scrub websites, try to re-word and re-spinning the past, but those damn videos and audio records will pop up to remind everyone from just whose Ego the wild toupee'd one was born.

The Mutant Daisies Of Fukushima
A recent photograph of less-than-perfect daisies near Japan’s Fukushima nuclear disaster site is generating headlines and is making the rounds on social media:
The image, showing daisies with a fused center and petals growing out the side, was posted by Twitter user @San_kaido of Nasushiobara, a city that borders Fukushima prefecture to the north. According to a translation from the International Business Times, the tweet reads:
“The right one grew up, split into 2 stems to have 2 flowers connected each other, having 4 stems of flower tied belt-like. The left one has 4 stems grew up to be tied to each other and it had the ring-shaped flower. The atmospheric dose is 0.5 ?Sv/h at 1m above the ground.”
Should we be worried about these flowers being a sign of the End Times? Anyone who’s ever eaten “ugly” produce knows that these variations from “perfection” are rare but normal.
