The indictment shows that Mike Pence gave Smith a significant heap of information with which to investigate Trump, including notes that he appears to have taken on the former President’s behavior as it happened.
The most eye-popping revelation from this section is one which Pence disclosed in his memoir: that on Jan. 1, when Trump “berated” Pence for opposing a lawsuit that sought to empower him to reject Biden electors, Trump told Pence “you’re too honest.”
Smith also cited “the Vice President’s contemporaneous notes” for a claim that Trump allegedly made to Pence to the effect that the DOJ was “finding major infractions.” That was on Dec. 29, long after multiple DOJ officials told Trump that the opposite was true. Smith cited other interactions between the two, including one on Dec. 25 where Pence purportedly told Trump, “You know I don’t think I have the authority to change the outcome.”

Let the flipping begin! - Special Counsel discovery includes "additional CCTV footage from [MAL] -
This strikes me as Jack Smith’s way of telling TFG, and/or Employees 2, 3, 4, and 5, that he has seen some things. That he ‘knows what they did last summer’, so to speak.
The Special Counsel's office notified Judge Cannon that they've made a third production of discovery to Trump & Nauta. It includes " additional CCTV footage from [MAL] that the Government obtained from the Trump Organization" on 5/9 & 5/12/23. 1/

And Smith's team is also confirming they've now produced "all unclassified memorialization of witness interviews finalized by today’s date and all grand jury transcripts in the Government’s possession." 2/
In other words, if Trump & Nauta did not know who Trump Employees 3 and 5 were before today and/or the gist of what they told Smith's team, they do now. 3/
This sounds like something new is being produced:
Included in Production 3 is additional CCTV footage from The Mar-a-Lago Club that the Government obtained from the Trump Organization on May 9 and May 12, 2023, in response to a grand jury subpoena served on April 27. On July 27, as part of the preparation for the superseding indictment coming later that day and the discovery production for Defendant De Oliveira, the Government learned that this footage had not been processed and uploaded to the platform established for the defense to view the subpoenaed footage. The Government’s representation at the July 18 hearing that all surveillance footage the Government had obtained pre-indictment had been produced was therefore incorrect. See 7/18/2023 Tr. at 8. AUBURN, Maine — Whenever strategic decisions made by President Joe Biden’s advisers get second-guessed, they’ll often note that they’re focused on a different audience — the middle of the electorate, not the noisy left and right flanks.
Speaking ahead of the president at an event in his congressional district last week, Democratic Rep. Jared Golden put it a bit more sharply.
The Maine Democrat traveled with Biden on Air Force One and Marine One to his district, one of the most rural in the nation — and one carried in each of the last two elections by Donald Trump. He has voted against Biden in Congress more than any other Democrat since the president took office, according to a FiveThirtyEight analysis.
