that we were in a crowd of "at Least 12,000 people" according to the Omaha World Herald:

Downtown Omaha echoed with loud chants of “Love trumps hate!” on Saturday as thousands of marchers filled the streets in one of the biggest protest rallies in the city’s recent memory.
Police estimated between 12,000 and 14,000 women, men and children participated in the Omaha women’s march — a crowd size that far exceeded organizers’ expectations of 2,000 to 4,000 participants.
“I’ve been in traffic seven years and this is easily — without a doubt — the biggest rally we’ve ever worked,” said Sgt. Jerry Martinez of the Omaha Police Department. “It was peaceful. No problem.”
Organizers were beyond thrilled.

Red State Update
Yesterday, my nephew in law brought his 10 year old son over to my folks back yard to practice target shooting his new bb gun in their back acre. His own yard being to small and close to neighbors.
Today several of the menfolk relatives are going out target practicing at the gun club here in this rural red state. Apparently, some received new rifles for Christmas.
Just wondering what all the men folk in blue states will be doing?
Also wondering if I should buy a gun for self-defense, but don't want to give business to Red Corporations.
Also, I'm afraid I might accidentally shoot myself in the foot or worse.
Just living in the real red world.

Moscow Mules seem popular this season...
I noticed while shopping yesterday that copper cups to make Moscow Mules were displayed front and center in several stores. Also noted that the bar I ate made a great Moscow Mule. In past years most bars did not have a clue what a Moscow Mule was, if I ordered one. Does this surge of Moscow Mule popularity mean anything?

Is McDonald's owned by Koch Brothers industries?
We just received a card at the Children's Library opening for a free ice cream cone courtesy of McDonald's and Koch Organization McDonald's Restaurants. Will have to stop frequenting McDonald's for my coffee breaks, now. Does anyone have the site about how to boycott the Koch Brother's enterprises?

At the graduation party last night, one of the guitarists opened his case and knocked a glass of champagne onto my laptop computer. 
Today the screen is totally black- no light when I plug in the charger.

1. Can I ever retrieve the pictures I had on it?
2. Can it be refurbished or is it worth it?
