It shows every active fire in the state of California with updates on each as they come in.
Maps and photos too
Im watching the Oak fire, we have at least a couple DU members evacuated right now
We have been fully vaccinated since April and I've always been super careful. Until I wasn't, the last few weeks we eased up a little.
Now we're sick with weird cold plus symptoms. I'm going for the rapid first because I have a work obligation on Sunday. It will also give me a regular result in 48 hours.
Wish me a negative please...
ETA - the rapid test was negative! Thanks everyone 😊
Ive been thinking about the changes this time might bring
Maybe we learn that we dont need so many things
Maybe we learn its important to make the things we need close by
Maybe we learn to take care of each other and our earth
Maybe we cook and garden more, and get out to experience nature
I hope we take to heart how important it is to have health care and a functioning government
I was Bernie in 2016 for the ideas
Of course I voted for Hillary in the general and was pissed at how she got screwed. I was also thrilled to finally have a woman to vote for that office.
My feeling this time was that Im tired of old white men being in charge and I wanted a woman.
The double standard applied to our female candidates infuriates me. My own father told me Kamala was too angry. I had to explain to him that shes tough and women our age had to be to get a little respect in this old mans world.
I love Kamala when shes kicking ass but my heart belonged to Warren and I voted for her even though it was clear she wasnt going to win.
Now I lean Biden because I think hes a much better manager and thats what were going to need.
My 37 cents, I dont think Im alone here...
So I dont feel pressed to make a decision but...
I surprise myself by leaning Biden now when I prefer the ideas of the further left.
The reason is simply that I think he will be a better administrator and has a head start on repairing our relationships around the world.
Im a pragmatist who also wants an important role for Liz and her plans, please...
I remember vividly 2004 when John Kerry was boring and long winded with his complicated ideas. I loved that about him and still do, as my choice below indicates
We were devastated in 2004, lets remember that one too
Is what Rachel said on Thursday.
I had to run it back and take note.
I love her when shes containing anger.
Our 15 year plan includes retirement and finding a couple acres to build our home with chickens, dogs and serious gardening
Ive started making sketches for a 3 container camp we can live in for a few years and then later Airbnb.
Has anyone done anything like this?
Incentives for hospitals to go non profit
Amend the ACA to allow people to switch to the PO even if they have other access
A Dem Administration will of course support health care expansion rather than using public resources to fight it in court
