Had an encounter with a cultist today.

In the grocery store! Here's how it went:

Him: "They ought to take 'at ole Joe Biden to the Knoxville zoo."
Me: "Pardon?"
Him: "They oughtta take 'at ole Joe Biden to the Knoxville zoo and put him in there and put a monkey in the White House. You like that?"
Me: "No sir, I don't think so."
Him: "Whut?"
Me: "I voted for Biden."
Him: Jaw drops. Sputtering ensues.

I started to walk off, and then:

Him: "I don't think anyone who did that is very smart!"
Me: "Actually, I am very smart. But it's OK if you don't think so.
Then I walked off.

This year is the first time I've had a 2nd straight Valentine's

In the same relationship. Love has eluded me for a long time but I'm happily engaged and looking forward to a summer wedding! I've had many lonely Valentine's Days but I think that will keep me from taking these for granted.

Now, for the important part: who doesn't have a heart and would like one?
