Family breakdown
The fault lines in greater society are turning up among my husband's siblings as they navigate caring for their aging mother.
Now I read the mayor of their tiny town on the Olympic Peninnsula - Sequim, WA, is a Qanon adherent.
His sister who lives in Sequim is an evangelical one issue Trumper- you guessed it. Anti-choice. For her to get away, only my husband can /will cover. The other sister thinks sister 1's travel is unjustified, so won't help out. Brother lives on the east coast. He traveled here pre-covid, but not a good idea right now. Christofascist primary caregiver sister is flying to SC where her son and family are suddenly moving.
Bunch a kooks. Sad because I've been a member of the family for 40 years.
