Arkansas Granny's JournalIran warns North Korea: Trump could cancel deal before getting home
Tehran cited its own experience in offering the advice to Kim a month after Washington withdrew from a similar deal with Iran.
Trump and Kim pledged at a meeting in Singapore on Tuesday to work toward complete denuclearization of the Korean peninsula while Washington committed to provide security guarantees for its old enemy.
We dont know what type of person the North Korean leader is negotiating with. It is not clear that he would not cancel the agreement before returning home, Iranian government spokesman Mohammad Bagher Nobakht was quoted as saying by IRNA new agency.

ETA: This didn't take long! (bolding mine).
Mr. McConnell left the window open for some other method of congressional approval, but said he preferred the treaty route, which would elevate the deal to binding law that couldnt be wiped away by a future administration.
<snip>
Senators also seemed to tamp down on Mr. Trumps suggestion that he was canceling joint military exercises with South Korea.
Sen. Cory Gardner, Colorado Republican, said Vice President Mike Pence had suggested that the exercises wont be halted.

Finally, someone is saying it.
Donald Trump Looks And Acts Mentally Ill, Says CNBC Correspondent John Harwood
'Ill be honest, as a citizen, Im concerned about the Presidents state of mind,' he says.
Donald Trump looks and talks like a person who is mentally ill, says CNBC correspondent John Harwood, and others at the network are also questioning the presidents sanity, Mediaite is reporting.
Trumps behavior at the G7 summit, during which hes railed against unfair trade practices with Americas closest allies, suggested allowing Russia back into the fold, threatening retaliatory tariffs, and criticized presidents going back to the Eisenhower administration, has been described as harsh even by Fox News. But for Harwood and his CNBC colleagues, its more concerning than that.

Just tell us what Vladimir has on you

Republican morals in a nutshell.

Another big story that got drowned out by the Roseanne brouhaha on Tuesday was that Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens resigned. Greitens is a Rhodes Scholar, former Navy SEAL and humanitarian who was named by Fortune as one of the worlds 50 greatest leaders. https://buff.ly/2sqn7YW

I wonder why he didn't mention the rape, the blackmail, misuse of his charities funds, etc? I guess it just slipped his mind.
Why in the hell is the Clinton/Lewinsky affair big news today?
Did he screw up? Yes, he did. Should he have exercised better self control? Of course he should have.
It has been 20 years, he was impeached for lying about the affair and made a public apology at the time. Why do we need to go back and revisit that whole episode now and conclude that it wasn't enough? He's not running for office and he's not been accused of any recent sexual misconduct.
This is nothing more than a distraction to steer the conversation away from the Mueller investigation and Trump's authoritarian statements. The closer Mueller gets to Trump, the more smokescreens they are going to throw out there. They want to change the subject and, if possible, create dissent in the Democratic party. As we approach the 2018 election were going to see even more of this.
About that pardon. . . .

President Nixon asked the Department of Justice if he could pardon himself. They said no, as no one may be the judge in their own case. He resigned three days later.
In case you want to follow the Nixon model, that would be Thursday. https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump/status/1003616210922147841

My son turned me on to a band I'd never heard before, The Revivalists. What do you think?
U.S. Sen. Jeff Merkley Was Denied Access to Detention Center for Immigrant Children
Parents, even those credibly seeking asylum, have been separated from their children as part of the White House policy.
-------
Merkley, accompanied by multiple video cameras and the American Civil Liberties Union, shot a Facebook live video as he attempted to gain access to the facility. (The video had been viewed more than 353,000 times within the first several hours.)
He was initially told that a manager would come speak to him when he telephoned into the facility from the front door. The police arrived first.

Trump Is Right: Someone Is Out to Get Him
The reporters explain Trumps anger as a function of his sense of paranoia. But this is typical MSM nonsense. Trump is absolutely right that someone in his administration keeps undermining him.
<snip>
Somebody in the administration fired James Comey as FBI director and then couldnt stick to a straight story about why he was fired, leading to the appointment of a special counsel to investigate it.
Trump has reason to be angry at whoever blew his chance at getting a deal to fund a wall at the southern border. First someone told the Democrats that they could get an amnesty for illegal immigrants who came here as minors without having to agree to any additional measures to enforce immigration laws. Then someone in the administration insisted that there would be conditions, maximalist ones.
