Arkansas Granny's JournalHeres how Trump will ultimately betray his own voters
Among the stranger features of the 2016 election campaign was the success of Donald Trump, a creature of globalization, as an America First savior of the white working class. A candidate who amassed billions of dollars by playing globalization for all it was worth he manufactured clothes and accessories bearing his name in low-wage economies and invested in corporations eager to outsource won over millions of voters by promising to keep jobs here in the US.
Admittedly, only a third of his voters earned less than $50,000 a year and cultural and racial resentment, not just economic grievances, drove many of them to Trump. Still, in an ever more economically unequal America, his populist economic message resonated. It helped him win the presidency by peeling off white working-class votes in key regions, particularly the industrial Midwest. Now hes stuck with his populist narrative, and heres the problem for him: its not likely to work not given the economic realities of this planet, not for long anyway.

Long read, but we'll worth it. Lots of good info.
Has anyone seen this timeline before?
https://twitter.com/saletan/status/935500435909210112Do you think it's possible that Moore has some kind of tie to O'Keefe?
Is Raw Story considered a credible source?
I found this on their site:
FLASHBACK: Trumps charity donated to James OKeefes right-wing sting organization
In 2015, The Trump foundation donated to James OKeefe right-wing organization Project Veritas, which is known for conducting sting operations on left-leaning groups, the Washington Posts David Farenthold reports.
The $10,000 donation was provided by Trumps namesake charity after Project Veritas [pitched] Trump on their work, according to Farenthold. As Newsweek notes, that donation helped fund OKeefes videos, including one alleging protestors at Trumps rallies were paid $1,500 by Hillary Clintons campaign.

Thanksgiving is rapidly approaching. So what better time is there to talk about the turkey deals of 2017?
This has been a banner year for turkeys there's an unusually large flock of them, even though I've decided to carve President Trump out of the list. Otherwise, I'd be falling into the trap of making everything about him and not paying enough attention to other things. That's a mistake far too many people are making.
Ready to gobble up my choices? Some of them are mine, some from friends and colleagues. Let the roast begin.
Equifax: What can I say? Here's a company that gathers tons of information about you without seeking your permission, sells it to Lord only knows whom without your permission, then is so incompetent that the information gets hacked. To protect yourself from possible damage that Equifax has done to you, you've got to shell out money to its competitors and possibly to Equifax itself. Thanks, guys. You're a credit to capitalism. (Yes, the pun's intentional.)

It's tit for tat between McConnell and Moore. This could be fun.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell believes the allegations against Alabama Republican Senate nominee Roy Moore and that Moore should leave the race, the Kentucky Republican said Monday.
"I believe the women, yes," McConnell told reporters in Kentucky.
McConnell, the Senate's top Republican and a frequent target of Moore on the campaign trail, said, "I think he should step aside."

Trump Judicial Pick Did Not Disclose He Is Married to a White House Lawyer
The nominee, Brett J. Talley, is awaiting a Senate confirmation vote that could come as early as Monday to become a federal district judge in Alabama. He is married to Ann Donaldson, the chief of staff to the White House counsel, Donald F. McGahn II.
Mr. Talley was asked on his publicly released Senate questionnaire to identify family members and others who are likely to present potential conflicts of interest. He did not mention his wife.
-------
Mr. Talley also did not mention his wife when he described his frequent contact with White House lawyers during the nomination process.

This nominee also received a "not qualified" rating from the American Bar Association, has never tried a case, but his nomination still advanced through the Senate Judiciary Committee on Thursday on a party-line vote.
Drain the swamp, indeed.
I've been thinking a lot about Roy Moore's statement about asking permission
of the mother before dating those teen aged girls. Why didn't he ask their fathers? Did he know that he would likely get an ass kicking? Or did he prey on young girls who had no father figure in the home?
