Race shouldn't even be close

I don't trust the corporate media since Bush and the Iraq debacle, but the editorial is good and well placed.

I mean Romney??????????? Even Republicans hate the guy but who else did they have that was any better. I figure the GOP knew Obama would win against McCain/Palin...and I figure they assumed Obama would win a second term but if dems don't figure a way around the filibuster and get the House back they will lose in 2016...and you know why...we all do.
Repubs don't give a damn about the citizens of this country and never have. They only care about power and enriching themselves so to them it's all about winning...by any means possible and everyday that is more important than what is good for the nation. Such a shame.

Sorry, not "job creator" but job profiteer

Unless your husband is doling out charity he profits from any one who works for him or he would have no need to hire them. Jobs are only "created" by demand for goods or services almost always provided to make profits (except for charity). I have no doubt your husband is a good man etc but please...don't get caught up in right wing Luntz labeling of economic terms. The man who goes out and spends $10 bucks buying your products or services is the real "job creator"...those that provide the jobs are "job profiteers".

Democratic Socialism is Best

Since this is the only form of government which both ensures our Freedom and our Survival against those who would attempt to control life's necessities for profit and power...like water, air, energy, food, shelter and the control of pollution.

We are still able to vote and free to worship or not and start businesses etc but we join together in making sure everyone can share in making necessities available at cost for all. Just like libraries, police departments, fire departments, FDA, EPA. Public education etc...all socialist programs to ensure safe food and water. It works.

We should also have a 100% billionaire tax to curtail rampant greed. Just when is $999,000,000 not enough?

You are consciousness. Can never lose it...

Jesus said "The kingdom of God will not appear with signs saying Lo it is there or here. For the kingdom of God is in the midst of you".

For those who expect the 'after life' to be a place I disagree. You are consciousness and using this body or brain to express consciousness. The body and brain may give out but consciousness never dies. It returns to the source from which it came..the formless being...the Presence of Being...not in some "form" place like a heaven. It is all in your consciousness which is not separate from the Source which both contains and sustains it.

TYT kept referring to it as a place...an object...a thing but words cannot express Isness. We can only get a sense of it at this level of Being.
You don't have a life...you are life. Having a life is context but saying you are life is Being and cannot be defined. TYT should get outside the box on this one.

But you took all the income and now...

You don't want to pay taxes on it. You should be called 'job profiteers'...taking wages as close to zero as you can get just to increase profits and then bitch that we think you should pay taxes on those profits? Screw you.

Exxon Mobile posted the highest profits of any company ever last year and paid no taxes on it plus got millions in tax dollar funded subsidies???...and you bitch about those who make such small income they can't afford to pay income taxes? Screw you.

Excellent. One of his best rants yet.

To claim workers, whose wages remained stagnant while CEO salaries grew to as much as 500% of average workers, are not paying 'income taxes' and then turn around and complain that these "job profiteers" have to pay taxes on their increased income demonstrates selfishness becoming an art form. What twisted logic.

I wonder if it were put to them before wage increases that in order to have an increase you must decide to pay higher taxes...or pay no taxes but have your wages stagnate or decrease by 20%...what the decision would be, ha.

Republicans now would have us work for $5/day and still complain that it's unfair that we do not pay income taxes.

Romney/Lyin Ryan (neither are too bright) really don't believe in democracy...they believe in an Oligarchy of a totalitarian nature.

Their royalty fantasy brain believes that if you don't vote for THEM...then something must be wrong with YOU. Not that you just disagree but that something must be wrong with YOU.

Arianna is sealing herself off from the real world and slowly becoming the wealthy shallow, where lies are left under the pillow along with character. Sometimes seeing through someone changes their outer appearance unless fantasy blocks the view. It's the only way you could find someone like Paul Lyan..er Ryan "sexy".

Another way is make corporate money invalid.

Since elections are the backbone of our democracy we should take away the profiteering so there is nothing to spend so much money on.
1) Electioneering can only begin 3 mos before an election
2)Since it is our democracy and our airwaves then campaign ads must be free to air for all candidates which will bring down the number allowed.
3) Each candidate must be given equal time

I'm sure others can come up with more along these lines but what this will do is make huge campaign donations and PAC electioneering funding useless...the money is no good as there is nothing to spend such huge amounts on.
I've not heard anyone discuss this prospect. It is our government...for, by and of the people and so must be made available without the corruption of profiteering...else the election profiteers of the media will just keep charging more and more. There must be a ceiling...Democracy demands it.

The audacity of installing faith through fear of punishment into a child's mind is Godless. This Christian mythology is pushed into these innocent minds as fact...as reality when it is really a belief system. At this early stage of child development this is just brainwashing...nothing holy about it...and in America.

Are we also gonna have a presidential debate again this election cycle monitored by tele-evangel preacher in a mega church...in America??? I am so sick of Christians of this sort who have been brainwashed to accept complete fantasies and insist on indoctrinating everyone who will listen closing their minds to any fact or information that doesn't fit into their "belief" system.

Here is the reality of God. To say I think is like saying I digest my food or beat my heart. Thinking happens. WE are not our thinking we are the observer of our thinking. Awakening happens as we learn to separate thinking from awareness.
Being in the present moment without thinking...is Being.
God doesn't do anything. He's God...there's nothing he needs and certainly nothing he 'forgot' to do. He's already done it. He just IS. Getting the picture...God just IS and awareness without thinking is Being and that is what God IS. When you are in the present moment without thinking...just being aware of your breathing...being here now...then you are beyond the world of form and one with all Being. Looking into a cloudless blue sky is formless infinity and just being aware...without thought is temporarily being one with God who just is...but then thinking takes over pulling us back into the world of forms...into our separation identity. This is the God reality.

I am the Zen Diaper. Allow me to explain...

THE ZEN DIAPER


Allow me to explain God, the source. It or He/She is unknowable. Stare into a deep blue cloudless sky. It is formless, also unknowable yet it is. The best that can be achieved is that we can get a “sense” of It. We almost feel compelled to ask if It is there but It is so vast, so all consuming that It is beyond explanation in words. The best that can be achieved is we can only get a sense of It which we can also deny if we want, but most of us here sense this vastness. So I put it to you this way: All that is … is God. All being, all that exist in any manner is God.

Now here is the simple truth: There is Only God. We are the separation identity (the Me and God). Like a drop of water in the ocean looking for the ocean and if all that is, is ocean then the drop could look forever and never find the ocean for it is looking for what it already is… expecting it to be different. Such is the seeking to define God. (God says I am you… but “you” are not all that I am.) God is too big to be knowable…the best we can do is get a sense of It.

What did we expect in the world of forms? We cannot explain the formless yet we look into it daily when we look into a cloudless sky…looking into forever.

WE want to point to God’s ‘being’ by defining what God ‘does’. We tend to think It’s power comes from what It ‘does’ since that is the way we try to define It’s ‘being’ or existence… by its ‘doings’.

God doesn’t do anything. He’s God. This would imply there was something He forgot to do or something He wanted or needed when He is already complete, needs nothing, has forgotten nothing, so doesn’t need to DO anything. It is all already done. All there to be tapped into yet at certain levels of being or of understanding we can only conceive or perceive according to our framework of being. Guided and directed we can still only get a sense of it. There is only God and the ending of sorrow is the ending of the ego or the separation identity so that there is not God and “Me” as the “Me” is lost when our last desire is to return to the source of being which is God, all that is…one without identity. You are Me… you‘re just not all that I am--The Zen Diaper. (Next: What good is it then?)
