Last week, Iger laid off Marvel Entertainment chairman Isaac Perlmutter, a prolific GOP donor who gave more than $2.5 million to DeSantis’s reelection campaign with his wife, Laura. Perlmutter reportedly clashed with the Disney CEO, who is a registered Democrat.
Disney has become a popular target for Republicans, who have taken aim at the company’s business in China, its support for LGBTQ representation and its opposition to the Florida law.

This is my take on the race.
I volunteered to phone canvass during the campaign. One coordinator from Connecticut, a Hispanic woman, said that when she heard Vallas was running, she was compelled to fly to Chicago to actually work to get his opponent elected because Vallas had messed up their school district so bad. Another individual from New Orleans pretty much stated the same thing. He was black. At least 70% of the people who I canvassed with were not black.
Vallas commercials featured endorsements by persons, 80% of whom were not whites. Of course some social media demographic pockets were primarily white and predictably pro Vallas but seeing the overall response even on the news today it’s people of all backgrounds coming together that makes this a victory in more ways than one.
Even though the race was not a mandate, I am very happy to have gained a closer perspective on the way we work together for a common cause. It’s a wonderful thing, and something to hold onto when bad news deluges us.
I believe now more than ever in my tagline:
If you think you’re too small to make a difference, try going to sleep with a mosquito in the room.
Be a mosquito! It might change your perspective.
The probability that **** isn't going to be convicted of a felony is 0.
Statistics was a difficult course for me but I got an A.
From what I learned, statistically 34 of 34 felony counts — 100% — are NOT likely to be thrown out, dismissed, plea bargained ….
They can minimize all they want but I see a felon label in ****’s future.
