mikekohr's JournalRomney and Ryan, the Animal House Ticket, -fragging Middle Class America-
If you are for the end of Medicare, and Social Security, the two most effective poverty fighting programs in history, Paul Ryan's your guy.
He's an articulate Sarah Palin, born of status and privilege. He's a life long career politician that managed to pass 2 bills in 14 years in Congress. He'll tell you about how effective he's been.
?
?
?
?
CAN YOU TELL THE DIFFERENCE? NEITHER CAN I.
With Paul Ryan playing Doug Neidermeyer and money bags Rmoney playing the role of Gregory Marmalard we now have the perfect Animal House ticket for the White House.
On behalf of all Deltas, we thank you.
-In this example of life imitating art, the character Neidermeyer volunteered for service in Vietnam were he was promptly fragged by his own troops. In real life Romney demonstrated in support of that war but in Cheney-esque fashion got three student deferments before getting a missionary deferment during which time he palled around France with cheese eating surrender monkeys. Ryan, if drafted into service as VP, has laid out a budget that would immediately frag the middle class.-

Government Employment At Lowest Level Since 1968
?More than 680,000 Federal, State and Local government jobs have been eliminated since 2009, the biggest 3 year decline on record. If these jobs still existed it would lower the unemployment rate by 1%.
But take a closer look at the two steepest increases in government employment since 1968. Those "fat times" occurred during the early 1970's (Nixon) and the 1980's (Reagan and Bush I). Isn't it precious that Republicans paint Democrats as the party of big government and big spending?

"These plagues rank as perhaps the most seminal events in the recorded history of mankind"
-clip-
The European plagues that decimated Native populations came in wave after wave, with some plagues individually, and others collectively having mortality rates of up to 95%. These diseases were for the most part introduced incidentally, though at times with purposeful deliberation, but nearly always noted with celebration or observed with dispassion and distance.
The stunning death rates of Native Americans to European pathogens was due in part to lack of exposure, but also due to genetic traits that limited Native Peoples ability to deal with these unseen killers. Native People are free of many genetic diseases but have a relatively narrow genetic range. Four mitochondrial haplogroups, named A, B, C, and D, 76).account for 96.9% of all Native Americans. More than 90% of Native People of North American and nearly 100% of Native South Americans have type O blood. Europeans are relatively evenly split between types A and O. More importantly American Indians have only about 17 Human Leukocyte Antigens (HLA's) classes as opposed to Europeans having on average about 35 HLA classes. HLA's are one of the human body's two main lines of defense against sickness. In addition Native Americans HLA profiles are dominated by a small number of types. There is evidence that the other line of defense in humans against disease, Helper T cells, are in the case of Native Americans oriented predominately against parasites but not as focused on bacteria and virus' as are the immune systems of Europeans.
No where in recorded human history has such a catastrophic depopulation of people as befell the Native People of the Western Hemisphere ever been recorded. These plagues rank as perhaps the most seminal events in the recorded history of mankind. 75). -end of clip-

Weird Willard, from the mouth of a Massachusetts State Health Professional
Willard is weird, uncomfortable, awkward and oh so corporate. That's who he is. Last summer I sat in a seat on a plane next to a Health Professional with state government in Massachusetts. She said the Romney administration had every study done by her office cleared by Robme's office before it could be released. This never happened before or since.
She said Romney was a "strange man" and she was very uncomfortable around him and his staff. She was stunned when he bought and destroyed the hard drives of every computer in the governor's office when he left office. I asked her, Isn't this what a person would do if he did not want anyone to know what went on during his administration?" She had a one word answer. "Yes."
To borrow a line from "The Great Gatsby," -The rich are different-."

Obama's Record On Job Creation Is 157,143 Per Month Since 4/2010, - better than any Republican-
Since President Obama's economic policies ended the George W. Bush gifted Great Recession, halted staggering monthly job losses that approached 800,000, and returned the nation to positive job growth in record time he has enjoyed a job creation rate that exceeds the 1st term job creation record of ANY Republican President in history.
Below is a table which shows job creation by President for ALL terms served. Reagan's record in his first term in office was 109,000 per month. Reagan inherited stellar job creation from President Carter and cut it in nearly in half. President Obama inherited the deepest drop in job loss since the Great Depression and has since September of 2010 outperformed every Republican on record.
When examining the record of job creation we must look where President Obama started out to fully understand how far he has taken us as a nation down the road to recovery.
Democratic Record:
Truman +86,500
Kennedy +100,000
Johnson +191,666
Carter +216,666
Clinton +241,666 ----------------------
+174,192 Jobs gained per month
Republican Record:
Eisenhower +36,458
Nixon +117,708
Reagan +167,708
G. H. Bush +52,000
G. W. Bush +19,895
-----------------
+78,754 Jobs gained per month

30 Willard Romney Lies in a Single Week
Character matters in life. A liar is never to be trusted. Willard Romney lies, a lot, repeatedly, and without shame. He lies about his record. He lies about President Obama's record. He lies about everything. Romney may be waging the single most dishonest campaign for the White House ever.As Ronald Reagan's spokesman once said, "Repeat a lie three times and it becomes the truth." Karl Rove recently said, "A couple a million dollars of unanswered TV does wonders."
Here is a link to 30 lies Willard told in a single week: http://maddowblog.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/06/22/12359704-chronicling-mitts-mendacity-vol-xxiii

ROMNEY IS RUNNING FOR GEORGE W. BUSH'S 3RD TERM, here's the graph
?
You are reading this right. There is nothing wrong with your eyes.
Under Romney's plan, millionaires and billionaires will pay less in taxes while the poor will pay more. On the bright side the middle class would get a few measley crumbs.
Romney is doubling down on the same tax policies that brought us a decade of no job growth, $9.3 trillion in National Debt, and plunged the nation into the second greatest economic free-fall in history.

42 Million Jobs Created Versus 24 million, Yet Another Democratic Economic Success Story
?And remember in November, Willard Romney wants to re-institute the George W. Bush economic policies that produced the worst job creation numbers since Herbert Hoover, the second deepest economic downturn since the Republican gifted Great Depression and the worst accumulation of national debt since Ronald Reagan.
Romney is doubling down on the most disastrous economic policy in 70 years. That seems like a bad idea to me.

Where Trickle Down Economics Has Taken Us, -and where it's leading us if Romney wins-
Trickle Down Has Never Worked. Not Once.?
It added $9.2 trillion to the national debt. see: http://bureaucountydems.blogspot.com/p/national-debt.html
It's produced less than 1/2 the job growth of Democratic Bubble Up Economic Principle. see: http://bureaucountydems.blogspot.com/...p/job-growth.html
It's been in place for 4 of the last 4 recessions including 2 of the 3 greatest economic downturns in our nation's history.see: http://bureaucountydems.blogspot.com/p/history-of-recessions.html
It's produced the greatest income inequality in history. see: http://bureaucountydems.blogspot.com/p/income-inequality-99-versus-1.html
Romney is doubling down on the very economic principles that have all but killed the middle class and swelled the ranks of the poor. We should remember the record of the principles he champions.

Yet More Graphs Showing It's Not Spending, It's Revenues That Are Causing the Problems
??
The Bush tax give-a-ways to the rich remain today the greatest driver of today's national debt. When Republican's wax indignant about todays deficits and blame "out of control spending," call bullshit. Cause that's what you are hearing.
We are spending less per capita today than at any time since 1954, when the top tax rate was 90%. Reagonomics promised us that lower tax rates on the uber rich would produce rapid job creation and increased revenues. What they produced was a decade of no job growth, unprecedented income inequality, massive deficits, and 4 of the last 4 recessions including 2 of the deepest economic downturns in our nation's history, the Reagan Recession of 1982 and the George W. Bush Great Recession of 2007-2009. Again proving the maxim that only two things grow when Republican economic and tax policies are in effect, unemployment and the national debt.
