How will the Government of the US put in place a solution to gun control?

It may be a good idea for President Obama to talk to our PM Harper how Canada keeps guns out of the wrong hands. This is just a suggestion from my point of view, I could be wrong. According to the FBI, too many people in the US have access to guns, who should not have access.

Frankly, I do not believe that a 21 year old child should be able to purchase a gun on his/her own.

What I really cannot comprehend is how young people

feel so much animosity against people of colour. Most young people I meet day to day, colour does not matter. Somehow, this kid had to learn to hate from home, otherwise he would not have done what he did. Imagine you are sitting with people in a church for 45 minutes, listening to them preaching the God's word, and then suddenly decided to shoot them. It does not make sense to me, that kid is seriously unbalanced!

I do not know if anyone on here cares about the guy with the armoured

vehicle who attacked the police, blaming them to take his child away! He was so frustrated at being deemed a person of domestic violence. When his dad was interviewed, he did not agree with his non! And the interviewer asked that the son should have got help. And you know what is mind boggling -- the dad (and am paraphrasing) said, where does a white guy go for help. That is so true! Society is focussing so much on women that the men get left behind! Not only that, too many women punish fathers from not seeing their children and the courts need to address that.

The owners of DU must be doing very well financially in order to

kick long time DUer's off! This will get locked anyways but why don't we have a voice when we subscribe. Isn't that a democractic process? DU is the best place for democrats to come and integrate with each other. However, why can't we ask for a DU'er to get back in, we all make mistakes and NYC is a great democrat, very sad to hear he is banned. I know that people need to be responsible for their actions but this time, NYC might have been stressed out. I have no idea why he was banned or what he typed but am asking the Admins to please reinstate him. One love you all, according to Bob Marley, hate has no place now when so much hatred is going around!

It would be nice if those musicians who were so dedicated

to helping humanity could come together and do a concert to make awareness to the plight of poor people all over the world. That concert is long overdue! Guess Michael, Dionne and the stalwarts are no longer around! We are the World was fantastic! That song moved a lot of us to understand that donating a little goes a long way.

Guess am feeling we need to do something to help!

Last time she was on here asking for help, some called her a scammer. If only you know how easy it is to become destitute, you would not entertain that thought.
