Yes, He did it today...Drump called someone "A Liar"

http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/31/politics/donald-trump-george-papadopoulos/index.html

At the link above, there are copies of the tweets. This is NOT made up, it happened today
CNN:
_______________________________________________________________________________________

Washington (CNN) — President Donald Trump on Tuesday continued to downplay the indictments of several of his former top campaign aides and called one of his campaign advisers, who pleaded guilty to making a false statement to the FBI, a "liar."

"The Fake News is working overtime. As Paul Manaforts [sic] lawyer said, there was 'no collusion' and events mentioned took place long before he came to the campaign. Few people knew the young, low level volunteer named George, who has already proven to be a liar. Check the DEMS!" Trump tweeted.

Why George Papadopoulos' guilty plea is a much bigger problem for Trump than the Manafort indictment

CNN...Analysis by Chris Cillizza, CNN Editor-at-large
Updated 1:56 PM ET, Mon October 30, 2017
Rest of the story is at the link below:

http://www.cnn.com/2017/10/30/politics/george-papadopolous-trump-guilty/index.html

(CNN) — Even as President Trump was on Twitter insisting that the indictment of former campaign chairman Paul Manafort was meaningless because it involved activities unrelated to Trump or the campaign came news that former Trump foreign policy adviser George Papadopoulos had pled guilty to lying to the FBI about his contacts with, wait for it, Russia.

The Manafort news drew the bigger headlines Monday morning -- understandable given his high-profile role at the top of the Trump campaign. But, the Papadopoulos guilty plea -- and the fact that he has been cooperating with the special counsel investigation since his July arrest -- strikes me as significantly more problematic for Trump and his White House in the medium-to-long term.

This paragraph from the FBI's guilty plea agreement with Papadopoulos is incredible.....:

"In truth and in fact, however, and as set forth above, defendant PAPADOPOULOS met the Professor for the first time on or about March 14, 2016, after defendant PAPADOPOULOS had already learned he would be a foreign policy advisor for the Campaign; the Professor showed interest in defendant PAPADOPOULOS only after learning of his role on the Campaign; and the Professor told defendant PAPADOPOULOS about the Russians possessing" dirt" on then-candidate Clinton in late April 2016, more than a month after defendant PAPADOPOULOS had joined the Campaign."

So, Papadopoulos copped to lying to the FBI about the timing of his contacts with Russians. In his initial interview in January 2016, Papadopoulos was insistent that he had reached out to his foreign contact "The Professor" (amazing!) before he had formally joined the Trump presidential campaign. He was arrested in July, pleaded guilty in October and appears to have been cooperating in between.

And, most importantly the "Professor" only showed interest in Papadopoulos after it became known that he was employed by the Trump campaign.

That. Is. A. Very. Big. Deal.........(rest of story at link)

I sure hope that this gets them all.. Trump's crowd.., all of them, are so arrogant and so positive that they are going to get away with all the sh*t that they do.. I hope they all end up with some jail time..

Paul Newman's watch sells for record $18m at auction, BBC

http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-41787046
_______________________________________________________________________________________

A Rolex watch belonging to the late Hollywood star Paul Newman has sold for a record price at auction in New York.

The watch was given to him by his wife Joanne Woodward as they filmed the 1969 movie Winning together.

Newman, who died in 2008 aged 83, later used it to time car races in which he took part.

The stainless steel watch was sold to an unnamed telephone buyer for $17.8m (£13.6m) - much more than the $1m it had initially been expected to fetch.

It is a record for a wristwatch sold at auction, but a Patek Philippe pocket watch sold for more than $24m in 2014.

About North Korea ???? War? China's Interest

https://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&aq=&oq=No&ie=UTF-8&rlz=1T4GGNI_enUS494US495&q=north+korea&gs_l=hp..1.0j0i131l2j0l2j41l3.0.0.0.6403...........0.RhjwurvJYss

Above is a link to a map of North Korea, South Korea...and the neighbor to the north of North Korea, China
Take a look, it a small map, but it is clear enough.

Yes, the man who runs North Korea is somewhat difficult. OK. Our country has some difficulties with North Korea and that man. Not a new story. But look to the north of North Korea. There is a line between North Korea and China. China is directly to the north of North Korea. They share a border.

Is it in China's interest for this neighbor to the south, North Korea, to have a war with the United States? China has a huge interest in the area. China has one billion people. Today is 2017, not 1949. China has made progress in the last 68 years. If it is not in China's interest to have North Korea start a war with the United States, then China might do everything possible to prevent that. Does that make sense? You be the judge.
Doing everything possible to prevent a war, means everything Look at the map. And...China does have very strong influence on North Korea. It always has. That is what I believe. Will China try to prevent any kind of war that North Korea gets into? I think that is the truth. China will do everything to prevent such a war because that is in China's own self interest.

I am doing something I have never done before...Brand New Experience..!!!!

No, please do not go there....it ain't that.....

About 2 weeks ago, my washing machine broke down..There was a pool of water underneath the machine, and that is not a good sign..NOOOOOOOOOOOO..!!!!!!!

I had some clean clothes so they lasted a few days. My concerns are clean underwear, (underpants and undershirts) and socks..Now I have heard rumors that there are places where an individual can wash and dry clothes. Rumors are out there that there is something called a "Laundromat" where a person can wash and dry them for a small fee. ....but no, I am in a very lazy phase..so I started to think..What did they do in the "good old days?"........I got an idea. Hand Wash the clothes...brilliant...!!!!

Here is my method. I put the dirty clothes in a sink. Fill the sink with water and soap. Then swish the clothes around the sink for about 5 minutes, squeezing the clothes back and forth. Moving them around in the sink, then I empty the sinks dirty water and fill it up with clean water, and rinse the newly cleaned clothes out of the soapy stuff that remains in the cloths. Now, after that one is done, I empty the sink again, and fill it up with a new fill of clean water and repeat the process. So, I rinse the clothes again. After that is through, I take the clothes out of the sink and carry them over to my clothes dryer. (which has not broken down yet.) In the dryer they newly cleaned clothes go, and 45 minutes later..I have dry clean clothes. Now, I will admit, this is...
not at all fun, even a little

Oh I guess the first time was, "unusual" but this is the 5th time and ...well I am tired of doing this. So, today, maybe, I will go and buy a new washing machine. I have saved enough money, that the cost will be not be a burden...but...I have never bought a new washing machine before..that is also new. (when I moved into my townhouse there was a new washing machine there)..a long while ago. Now I am retired, well past the retirement age,,,and this hand washing clothes..feels like lousy dirty job. Water here and over there. Swishing the clothes back and forth, and then filling the sink up with more water, and so on and on.. I am not even sure that the clothes are .."perfectly clean"..Well I do not give a damn....Today is the day to buy the damn washing machine...and........

NO I DID NOT MAKE THIS UP...IT REALLY HAPPENED..AND HAND WASHING SUCKS..!!!

thank you for reading this.....Stuart G

Watergate crew, they got them..but it took time..Mueller will get them, and it will also take time..

And Mueller will get them...

Watergate Crew

Nixon resigned..
Vice President Agnew resigned, but unrelated to Watergate, ( He committed other crimes)

◾40 government officials indicted or jailed

◾H.R. Haldeman and John Erlichman (White House staff), resigned 30 April 1973, subsequently jailed

◾John Dean (White House legal counsel), sacked 30 April 1973, subsequently jailed

◾John Mitchell, Attorney-General and Chairman of the Committee to Re-elect the President (CREEP), jailed

◾Howard Hunt and G. Gordon Liddy (ex-White House staff), planned the Watergate break-in, both jailed

◾Charles Colson, special counsel to the President, jailed

◾James McCord (Security Director of CREEP), jailed
_______________________________________________________________________________

Those of us who lived through this and watched this, thought a couple of them might go down..But the investigation proved they had all committed crimes. Gerald Ford pardoned Nixon for all crimes...otherwise he probably would have been charged..(no one knows)..But it took time...I want it over with now, but that will not happen now..But Mueller will get them......!!!

New York Daily News Bought by Tronic for $1.00

Source: CBS News, 9:02 AM..ET

The New York Daily News, which bills itself as "New York's Hometown Newspaper," has been acquired by newspaper publisher Tronc.

The deal was struck for $1 and the assumption of pension and operational liabilities, according to The Chicago Tribune, which is owned by Tronc. In 1993, real estate magnate Mort Zuckerman bought it for $36 million. The newspaper's liabilities may exceed $30 million, The New York Times said.

Chicago-based Tronc (TRNC), which also publishes the Los Angeles Times, announced the deal Monday night, and the Daily News posted a story on its website. It was first reported by The New York Times.

The Daily News, which won a Pulitzer this year, has been buffeted by the changing media environment. Like other newspapers, its circulation has plummeted amid the shift to digital news. Tronc said the company was committed to maintaining the quality of the newspaper's journalism.

Mueller will get Trump, I said this before, and I will say it again.

I will add this,... that getting him will take some time....But,...Mueller will get Trump

And that will be clear to all..It will ironclad. No doubt at all..

Why?...Mueller is an ex head of the FBI, and has some experience in investigating people. A friend of his, and also an ex head of the FBI, was embarrassed and fired by Trump. Further, Mueller has hired some of the best and most experienced investigators in the country to get Trump..each experienced in special areas of investigation................including the mob...

Furthermore, Trump has made some mistakes in the last couple of years. His arrogance goes with what we see.. Mueller will find those mistakes and indict Jared and maybe Trump himself...

I will say it again. Mueller will get Trump. ..When Trump fires Mueller for indicting Jared, then Watergate will be repeated. Trump will resign......again..it may not be in ways we expect. or when we expect..but Mueller will get Trump

About making stupid mistakes, on live TV.... and an apology..2 hours later.

http://theweek.com/speedreads/719882/new-york-times-bret-stephens-compares-secretary-state-rex-tillerson-pol-pot

On Morning Joe this morning.....Bret Stephens NYT columnist said..... on live TV the following:

STEPHENS: "Precisely because the State Department is also part of the machinery of government. And that machinery has to run in order for normal things to happen. Like having relationships with foreign countries, or having consular services for U.S. people, or for doing all sorts of things the State Department has to do.

And Tillerson seems to be of a kind of Maoist school in which it's like -- maybe it's Pol Pot, uh, well --"
_______________________________________________________________________________________
2 hours later........an apology from Stephens:

"I let rhetorical exuberance get the better of me. RT in no way PP, not remotely or by analogy. I apologize., (BLS)
________________________________________________________________________________________

Meaning ???... This fellow said something very stupid and insensitive about the Sec of State Tillerson. Why ? I guess Tillerson has not filled a number of jobs that need to be filled.. Basically, Stephens compared Tillerson to Pol Pot..the Cambodian dictator that killed millions..This was not smart, and wrong. .....
Yes, this did happen. Wrong things are said on live TV. People get carried away with rhetoric and themselves.
________________ ___________________________________________________________________

So..2 hours later, today, he apologizes to everyone..." I let rhetorical exuberance get the better of me. RT in no way PP, not remotely or by analogy. I apologize " . said by Stephens....link to apology story: TPM:

http://talkingpointsmemo.com/livewire/bret-stephens-apologizes-for-comparing-rex-tillerson-pol-pot

NOTE:.....While stupid comments on live TV are very common in today's world.. Apologies, just 2 hours later are not so common. While it might not seem like this is important, I think it is. Adults make apologies for mistakes as soon as possible. It is honest and correct thing to do, and here is an example of someone doing it.....This happened today..8/22/17, this morning......
...In today's world, many run and hide, and never apologize for any kind of mistake. That is what a very young child might do who doesn't know what to do and has never been taught. That is what a dog or cat might do.. At least in one instance, the correct action was taken. That action was to apologize as soon as possible..And that is what happened today. It is a moment in time that might be overlooked. That is the reason I posted this..
