anyone dealth with a cat losing its hair?

Rocky is not even 2 years old yet....18 months....has a very thick soft coat of hair, like an angora rabbit.

It first started at the base of his tail, the hair got all sparse and thin enough to see skin thru. took him to the vet last month, vet says it looks like excessive grooming, no redness, no scabs, no sign of ringworm, etc.
I wasn't too sure, I am home with him every day, have not seen him "excessive" groom.
this morning when he was lying on his back, I noticed his lower belly is bare, and the area surrounding it is thin haired.
so this is spreading.

We have his brother, also, who is a short hair cat. zero coat problems.
they both eat same good cat fud, drink same water.

ages and ages ago I had a long hair orange cat, who went to live with friend when I had to move to no-cat life. He developed a thyroid condition and began losing his air, it was fixed with meds, I was told.

any one have similar problem?????

On edit....he is not scratching a lot, the cats are on flea control, and they are both totally indoors.

Oregon man who offered to bribe ICE officer to deport his wife and stepdaughter sentenced to prison

At the end of May last year, Burgos followed an Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer from the Portland office to a parking lot in Vancouver, Washington. He then offered to pay the officer to deport his wife, whom he was divorcing, back to El Salvador where the couple met.

The ICE agent subsequently reported the incident to the agency's Office of Professional Responsibility, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office. With the help of an investigation team, the ICE officer made two recorded calls to Burgos during which the man again offered to pay $3,000 for his wife's deportation and arranged for an in-person meeting.

Burgos met the immigration officer in June and offered to pay more for the deportation of his stepdaughter as well, increasing the bribe to $4,000.

In addition to four months in prison, Burgos was sentenced Monday to three years of supervised
release.https://www.nbcnews.com/news/latino/oregon-man-who-tried-bribe-ice-officer-deport-wife-sentenced-n1002941?cid=sm_npd_nn_tw_ma

Judge Orders PG&E's Board Members to Tour Wildfire-Ravaged Paradise

SAN FRANCISCO — A federal judge on Tuesday ordered board members of Pacific Gas & Electric to tour the Northern California town of Paradise, which was leveled by a wildfire that may have been caused by the utility’s equipment.

The judge ordered the tour as part of the utility’s punishment for violating its felony probation terms, reported the San Francisco Chronicle.

PG&E was convicted and placed on felony probation after one of its natural gas pipes exploded in 2010 killing eight people in the San Francisco suburb of San Bruno.

U.S. District Judge William Alsup says he wants the utility’s newly appointed board to focus the company on complying with new wildfire safety plans approved by regulators. Complying with the plan is the utility’s top probation condition.

49 years ago, the Ohio National Guard opened fire on Kent State students.

49 years ago today, we found out that unarmed civilians were seen as dangerous threats, and protests as provocation to lethal force. that our own government would turn weapons on Americans for practicing their right to protest.

Mozilla seems to have disabled add-ons, attempts to download them don't work

Et tu, anyone ?

All of my extensions are marked as "___ could not be verified for use in Firefox and has been disabled".
Trying to remove them and reinstall them gives "Download failed. Please check your connection."
EVERY single add-on on the Mozilla page does this.

2 hours later, I found https://github.com/mozilla/addons/issues/978, which is
a current discussion of the problem that people have discovered in the last 3-4 hours.

I can attest this just recently happened around 10 pm Central, on my 2 computers running Firefox.

I have Opera as a back up browser, so can change over to that.

John Kelly joins Board of company profiting from immigrant kids in cages.

This is unfucking belivable.....In his position of head of Homeland Security, he oversaw the kidnapping program in the first place.
Now he is gonna make money from it.

As first reported by @CBSNews, John Kelly joined the board of directors of Caliburn International, the parent company of Comprehensive Health Services, which runs multiple shelters for unaccompanied migrant children in Texas.

John Kelly was the architect of the Trump Administration's cruel child separation policy. Now he will profit off the separation of families. It's unethical. We are better than this.
