dixiegrrrrl's JournalRick Perry calls the shooting "an accident".
Perry calls Charleston massacre an accident, hits Obama for pushing gun control in wake of attack on black churchCalling the attack that left nine worshipers dead an accident, the 2016 GOP presidential candidate and former Texas governor also suggested that misuse of therapeutic drugs to treat mental illness might have been a more significant factor than access to firearms.
Snip............he also seemed to downplay that motive.
There were more people than that killed in Paris, he said, comparing the Wednesday night massacre in Charleston, S.C., to the Charlie Hebdo attacks that left a dozen people dead.
Jeb states his position against gay marriage:
"the fight over gay marriage should continue 'irrespective of what the courts say' -"

“He said he wanted to start a civil war."
Dalton Tyler, who said he has known Roof for seven months to one year, said he saw the white, 21-year-old suspect just last week.
He was big into segregation and other stuff, Tyler said. He said he wanted to start a civil war. He said he was going to do something like that and then kill himself.
Tyler said he met Roof, a Lexington, South Carolina native, through a good friend. He also said Roofs parents, with whom he said the suspect was on and off, had previously bought him a gun but never allowed him to take it with him until this past week.
DU Facebook folks...is there really a the "Justice For Dylan Roof community page" now?
People are calling for Facebook to remove it.
Greece says: All Debt To The Troika "Illegal, Illegitimate, And Odious"
Moments ago, this committee released its preliminary findings, and here is the conclusion from the full report presented below:
All the evidence we present in this report shows that Greece not only does not have the ability to pay this debt, but also should not pay this debt first and foremost because the debt emerging from the Troikas arrangements is a direct infringement on the fundamental human rights of the residents of Greece. Hence, we came to the conclusion that Greece should not pay this debt because it is illegal, illegitimate, and odious.

Obama hires infamous Ken Feinberg to determine cuts of worker pensions.
The Obama administration announced on Wednesday that well-known mediator Kenneth Feinberg review applications from pension plans under a law passed last year. The law would cut benefits as a last ditch means to stave off insolvency of troubled plans such as the huge Teamsters Central State Fund.
The new law earned mixed reviews from the unions whose members are covered by such defined benefit plans, including construction workers, Teamster truckers and food service workers.
The Teamsters and AARP opposed the law when it passed last year as part of a governmentwide spending bill. But other unions saw it as a solution that was preferable to plans becoming insolvent and getting a federal bailout.
Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew named Feinberg, an attorney, to review applications for fairness. Feinberg has administered the compensation funds for claims from the Deepwater Horizon oil spill and from families of victims of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

I'll be darned, the system worked.
High praise for the Better Business Bureau of Washington and Oregon.
I ordered a product from an Oregon company, it was defective, and the company did not respond to my attempts to discuss the problem
by phone ( they never answered the phone) or 2 emails 2 weeks apart.
The Google showed me that the BB had handled complaints about this company so I filled out a complaint online.
Got a reply within 20 minutes, with a next-step suggestion, they contacted the company and I got a refund coming, and it has not been even 24 hours since I contacted the BB.
Chalk up a victory for the little guy......hooray.
