An Arizona Senate candidate, Bobby Wilson, says he's pro-gun because he once fended off a gunman with a gun kept under his bed.
Turns out the "attacker" was his mom, and he shot her dead; he was charged with murdering her and his sister, but not convicted.

I had not heard that yesterday.

Hope it's true. Having the shoe on the other foot is gonna get him upset. You know how he is about people embarrassing him.

Maybe, if we are lucky, he will want revenge on Putin for that.

Disneyland just had its hottest day ever. 113 degrees.



It is not only the hottest temperature on record since the park opened in 1955, it is the hottest temperature recorded at any of the Disney parks around the world (including Orlando, Paris, Shanghai, Tokyo and Hong Kong), according to Theme Park Insider.

Because of the oppressive heat, park officials closed all outdoor rides, including Big Thunder and Mountain Railroad. Several food vendors also shut down because of the heat. Those who went to the park on that day said that lines for rides were short, as the park was practically empty.

Disney first aid staff were on call to help guests experiencing dehydration. “There was one medic run right after the other,” one park cast member said.

California Prosecutor Who Questioned Why Maxine Waters Hadn’t Been Shot Suspended By San Bernardino DA

Michael Selyem, a San Bernardino County, California, deputy district attorney, was suspended by the DA's office Monday in the wake of intense backlash over his recently unearthed social media posts.

Mike Ramos, the San Bernardino County DA, said in a statement Monday that Selyem will be placed on administrative leave while an investigation into his actions takes place, according to KABC-TV.

"The San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office does not condone hate, discrimination or incitement of violence," Ramos said in a statement posted Monday afternoon. "Our community and the entire criminal justice system depends on having fair, ethical, and unbiased prosecutors."

The investigation could lead to "disciplinary action leading up to termination," according to Ramos.
