Hillary Clinton Sought "FORMAL ROLE" To Help White House CUT FOLKS OFF Welfare

The Welfare Reform Bill was supposed to transition welfare recipients from welfare to jobs, only problem is Clinton had just signed NAFTA only two years before the welfare bill so the jobs went overseas instead. The two Clinton policies were disastrous for the most vulnerable especially minorities in the US.

Lee Fang: TV Pundits Praise Hillary Clinton On Air, FAIL TO DISCLOSE Financial Ties to Her Campaign

http://democracynow.org - "I think Hillary Clinton has done everything right," says Stephanie Cutter in a recent "Meet the Press" panel, in which she is introduced as a Democratic campaign expert. But she failed to disclose that the firm she co-founded, Precision Strategies, was retained by the Clinton campaign for "digital consulting." "This is just one of many examples" notes The Intercept’s Lee Fang, who analyzed more than 50 different TV news segments. He discusses his latest article, "TV Pundits Praise Hillary Clinton On Air, Fail to Disclose Financial Ties to Her Campaign."

Sanders Will Need 60 Votes To Pass Anything. But Hillary Clinton Will ONLY NEED 60.

Chris Matthews seemed to be stuck in Marco Rubio-style robotic warp mode last night during his interview with Bernie Sanders. Matthews kept repeating:

“You need 60! You need 60! But how are you going to get to 60?”

I think Matthews’ point was that Hillary Clinton will only need 60 votes to get any legislation passed in the Senate. Unlike Sanders who will need 60 votes.

First on CNN: Conservative Super PAC To Air Ad Hitting Hillary Clinton On PAID SPEECH TRANSCRIPTS

Charleston, South Carolina (CNN)A conservative super PAC tied to a number of top Republican donors will start airing an ad Saturday that knocks Hillary Clinton for delivering paid speeches to Wall Street and corporate groups and refusing to release the transcripts of those speeches.

The ad, which will air on CNN and MSNBC through Super Tuesday and was made by the group Future45, is the most recent attempt by Republicans to force Clinton to release transcripts of her paid speeches.

"Hillary Clinton gave speeches to the biggest banks on Wall Street after one of the worst financial crises in American history," a narrator says over video of a Clinton look-alike opening a check from Goldman Sachs. "But Hillary won't tell us what she said to those banks. They paid her over 1 million dollars and are contributing millions more to elect her."

The ad concludes, "So before you promise your vote to Hillary, don't you deserve to know what she promised to them?"

Clinton's campaign dismissed the ad Thursday as another attempt by Republicans to boost Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, Clinton's Democratic opponent.

WHO Could DESTROY The Trump Monster? Bernie Or Hillary?

With his massive victory in the Republican Nevada caucus - it’s becoming increasingly obvious that Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee - and maybe even our next President. He could still collapse in a meltdown - but at this point - that seems about as unlikely as Ted Cruz actually being eligible to run for president. Just kidding…kind of…

But if Donald Trump is the likely Republican nominee - that raises an important question: which of the Democrats running for president has the best chance of beating him? America’s Lawyer, Mike Papantonio, discusses this with Ed Schultz on RT’s The Big Picture.

People BEFORE Polluters | Bernie Sanders

Bernie Sanders has the courage to stand up to big oil, because he won't take their money. He opposed the Keystone Pipeline and never waffled. He's also the only candidate to oppose fracking. Bernie Sanders Calls for TUITION-FREE Public Higher Ed at Chicago State

PRESS RELEASE

Sanders Calls for Tuition-Free Public Higher Ed at Chicago State

FEBRUARY 25TH, 2016

CHICAGO – U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders – who has called for tuition-free public colleges and universities – spoke on Thursday at Chicago State University on a campus struggling through a higher education budget crisis that has nearly dried up state funding.

Illinois colleges and universities have not received operating money from the state since July 1 while state lawmakers battle Gov. Bruce Rauner over budget cuts. As a cost-cutting measure, Chicago State on Tuesday accelerated the semester cancelled spring break.

“This great university is being threatened with cuts. What is going on in America? Where are our priorities?” Sanders asked in an address to 6,500 supporters.

During his speech at the South Side campus ahead of Illinois’ March 15 presidential primary, Sanders also highlighted key differences with Hillary Clinton.

On foreign policy, he cited his vote against the war in Iraq in 2003. She voted for it.

On trade, he listed his record of opposition to job-killing trade deals like the North American Free Trade Agreement. She supported a string of corporate-crafted trade deals that have closed factories and driven jobs to low-wage nations overseas.

On gay rights, he cited his opposition in 1996 to the Defense of Marriage Act. She supported the anti-gay bill that denied federal recognition of same-sex marriages.

On poverty in America, Sanders has detailed proposals to reduce poverty and blamed an increase in part on a 1996 welfare reform bill he called “an assault on the poor, women and children, minorities and immigrants.” She supported the 1996 legislation.

On campaign finance reform, Sanders has rejected funding by super PACs and relied on more than 4 million donations averaging $27 apiece. She has coordinated with super PACs, including one that took $25 million in the past six months of last year from special interests, including $15 million from Wall Street.

Sanders’ stop on the South Side of Chicago came on a day that began with a rally outside Cleveland, Ohio, and included a stop in Flint, Michigan. He has crisscrossed the country this week making stops in South Carolina, where Democrats vote on Saturday, and to many of the 11 states holding primaries and caucuses on Super Tuesday, March 1.
