He's the best dealmaker. Everyone says so.
Glad to hear the co-op survived.
After I moved away and WF opened up, I heard talk of the co-op closing down. The coop was the only place to buy what I thought of as middle class food when I lived there. Just before I moved away. Price Club ( the predecessor to Costco) opened up. That was a big help. I remember not being able to buy any pasta other than spaghetti in the regular "supermarkets " And that was only 30years ago.
This is an extremely affluent area. I looked Parkland up on Wikipedia
because the address given in another thread was familiar to me from a relative who lives in Sunrise FL. Looking to see where exactly Parkland is I found this:
According to a 2008 estimate, the median income for a household in the city was $277,072, and the estimated median house value was $973,176.[10] Males had a median income of $103,942 versus $81,425 for females. The per capita income for the city was $41,896. About 2.0% of families and .4% of the population were below the poverty line, including 3.2% of those under age 18 and none of those age 65 or over.
This kids are impressive and I bet there's plenty of enrichment (no pun intended) in their school. Would that all our kids went to a school like this.
