we really do have a two tiered system of justice in this country. The wealthy can usually pretty much get away with murder and all sorts of other crimes.

but, sometimes the powerful are brought to account.

I can only hope that these legal professionals will get the job done. It isn’t going to be anywhere near easy. They are all going to be getting death threats because that is the way things work now.

I hope as this progresses that the crazies the issue those death threats will also find themselves in jail very quickly.

This may be the last gasp for a country that has always prided itself on being a country of law— but in reality those laws rarely applied to the wealthy and powerful.

I've been mulling over some language in terms of describing the current Republican party

The Republican party is now the Anti-Democracy party. They are now clearly anti-democracy and pro-authoritarian.

How to articulate that and make it stick?

For example, the anti-abortion movement knocked it out of the park with “pro-life” and “pro-abortion”. That language fundamentally changed the playing field.
Who is not pro-life? Who is actually pro-abortion?

So, how do we do the same thing to them? They are against everything hold most dear.

Any suggestions on how to weaponize the language we use to talk about these evil, corrupt, disloyal bastards?

He doesn't "want" to fire Savage

He did fire Savage. Michael Weiner refused to resign and therefore has been fired. Weiner is now whining to all of his cra cra rightwing fascist traitor brethren.

All part of Biden knowing what he can and can't do and doing the things that are sloooowwwwly improving things.

I continue to be extremely impressed with Biden. Those decades of experience in government? The competence and experience show each and every day.

I'm almost embarrassed that I ever questioned what kind of President he'd make and was not initially all that thrilled with his ascension to the lead in the race. There was no question that I'd support him, but I wanted Elizabeth Warren (even though I doubted she could win).
