Opinion: What's Left of Russia's Black Sea Fleet?
Yahoo News
April 2, 2024
Russia's war against Ukraine is shattering the conventions of warfare in many ways.
One of the most illustrative examples is the systematic destruction of Russia's Black Sea Fleet (BSF) by Ukraine, a country that has virtually no navy of it's own.
The Ukrainian military's use of coastal missile systems, air-launched cruise missiles, and sea and air drones has forced Russua to up it's Black Sea port defenses and create a naval base in Russian-occupied Abkhazia.
An early symbol of humiliation was the destruction of the Russian cruiser Moskva, the BSF's flagship, by Ukrainian Neptune missiles in mid-April 2022.
This marked the second time in history that a cruiser-class ship was destroyed in combat since the Argentine ARA General Belgrano was sunk by a British submarine during the Falklands War in 1982.

The Story of Boji the Dog
Post a "hard-to-answer" question about a rock musician/band & see if anyone knows the answer
Hard-to-answer meaning a tough or difficult question about a rock & roll musician or band, (some fact not widely known)
My question:
In one of their early U.S. tours, The Rolling Stones performed at a venue which had electrical problems, with power going off several times. After the power came on one time, they started to play a song and the power immediately went off again, angering Keith Richards so much he broke his guitar on stage.
A) What was the city and the venue?
B) What brand & model was the guitar?
C) What was the song they were starting to play?
(Guesses welcome)
Tens of thousands rally against Netanyahu government in Jerusalem
Reuters
March 31, 2024
JERUSALEM, March 31 (Reuters) -- Tens of thousands of people demonstrated in Jerusalem on Sunday against Benjamin Netanyahu's government and against exemptions granted to ultra-Orthodox Jewish men from military service, in scenes reminiscent of mass street protests last year.
Protest groups, including some that led the mass demonstrations that rocked Israel in 2023, organized the rally outside parliament, the Knesset, calling for a new election to replace the government.
The protesters also want a more equal share in the burden of army service that binds most Israelis.
Around 600 soldiers have been killed so far since the Hamas attack of Oct. 7 and the ensuing war in Gaza, the military's highest causality toll in years.
Israel N12 News said it appeared to be the largest demonstration since the war began, Haaretz and Ynet news sites said it drew tens of thousands of people.
