jml510's JournalWhere do you consider yourself on the political spectrum?
Do you like stadiums/arenas being named after corporations and businesses? Why/why not?
Personally I'm not crazy about the idea of stadiums and arenas being named after them. What happened to the time when more stadiums were named after teams or areas such as Candlestick Park, Tiger Stadium, Cleveland Stadium, Ebbets Field, and Chicago Stadium? Today we have mostly names like O.co Coliseum, Citi Field, Wells Fargo Arena, HP Pavillion, Busch Stadium, Staples Center, Target Field, and Safeco Field.

noun. The state of being free to watch millionaires hoard money, to make it more inconvenient for low-income people to vote, to eat spoiled food, to trick paranoid gun owners into buying more merchandise, to inhale polluted air and drink contaminated water, to use a major news network as an arm of your party, to close down public schools, to have Christian principles shoved down the throats of non-Christians, to deny gays the right to marry, to pay workers less, to intrude into what a woman does with her vagina, to drive on roads full of potholes and bridges that are about to collapse, and to start wars.Ex. 2012 was a disappointing year for liberty, as President Obama was re-elected and the Republican Party lost seats in both Houses of Congress.
I Have An Offer For America's High-Rollers
If you can't endure the suffering of a modest tax increase, I'll be more than happy to trade places with you and accept the challenge of making seven figures. If I made $50M per year, they could even tax me at a 94% rate like during FDR and I could care less.
Should it be against the law for news networks to lie?
For anyone old enough to remember, how did Reagan do as CA governor and as president?
I want to get some comments here and know more about this GOP legend. From all that I heard about him so far with regards to his "welfare queen" myth and his trickle-down myth, he sounded like a scumbag and a con-man.
Is it me or did it seem like Obama's landslide among Asian voters was underreported?
I don't intend to start a hubbub here, but I noticed that whenever the MSM discussed Obama's leads with various groups and minorities, I hardly ever heard about his polling with Asians. They always mention Blacks, Latinos, women, and young people, but not so much Asians. And Obama's win among them was actually slightly greater than his win among Latinos (I think it was 73% compared to 71%).
Are they just not focusing on them so much because there aren't that many Asians who are registered to vote?

On Jerry Springer why do they give the guests water?
Particularly when they're fighting? From the many times I've watched, all that happens is that the guests end up throwing the water on each other rather than drinking it. And they only give it to the female guests, too. Do they give them the water with the intention of starting some wet shirt fights?
