Can History Be Made With These Four African-American Candidates Governor & Lt. Gov Candidates?

Andrew Gillum - the Current Mayor of Tallahassee, FL, has won his Primary to become the First African-American Governor of Florida.


Stacey Abrams - the former Minority Leader of the Georgia House of Representatives, is vying to become the First African-American Governor of Georgia.


Ben Jealous - former President of the NAACP, is vying to become Maryland's First African-American Governor.


Garlin Gilchrist II - current executive director of the Center for Social Media Responsibility at the University of Michigan, former Candidate for Detroit City Clerk, former political organizer for the left-wing MoveOn.org and managed social media for Barack Obama's first presidential campaign, is vying to become the First African-American Lt. Governor of Michigan.
