I listened to Biden today and didn't like one thing

A reporter asked about the $2000 stimulus checks and whether it will be a stand alone bill or part of a bigger package. Biden said it would be part of a bigger Covid package. Though I agree with Biden that the country needs more in the Covid relief (unemployment insurance, vaccines, etc) I wish the stimulus checks were separate. All this does is delay and leads to more fighting in what needs to be in/out.

So I assume Trump will be at Maralago on Inauguration Day

He wakes up as President with all the stuff that goes with it security, people, transportation, etc...and then as soon as Biden is sworn in everyone and everything just awkwardly leaves....

Obama's dignity and Trump's arrogance

I hated that Obama had to attend Trump’s inauguration. Having to see the person who was responsible for birtherism take over for you. I wanted him to skip it. But I knew that he shouldn’t, couldn’t or wouldn’t. The MSM and the right wingers would have ate that up. He would have been described as a sore loser, not supporting a peaceful transition of power, nor honoring America, etc....

I was looking forward to Trump having to attend Biden’s inauguration. The loser having to see his successor sworn in. Having to hear the inaugural speech subtly attacking him. But I knew that he didn’t had the courage to attend.

when I was a dumb teenager, I did something very stupid. Me and a few friends broke into a vacant home on a military installation. Nothing was stolen and no damage was done. But, Because it was on base it was considered a federal crime. They threw so many charges on, like a total of 15...crazy Stuff I never heard of before....eventually, I plead guilty to breaking and entering and spent 2 years on probation. My point is that these initial charges for storming the Capitol building (by adults) are weak.
