I see and hear a lot of talk about how the Democrats need to win over the Trump voter. "Because the are hard working honest decent Americans who are just worried and scared."
I say bullshit. They are deplorables who don't give a shit about this country or anyone else. They aren't going to vote for a Democrat so there is no use in trying. Dems don't need to concentrate on these people, they need to concentrate on all the people who didn't bother to show up and vote in 2016, 2014 and 2010. These are the democratic voters who aren't motivated enough to vote.
After the 2008 election when the Republicans were the minority and seemed destined to be that way for a long time. Did they reach out to the Obama voter? No, they went further to the right and got more batshit crazy. And it paid off for them in 3 of the last 4 elections.
NBA champs and White House visit?
If the teams left I can see a complete boycott except for maybe the Boston Celtics. Which is weird because out of the teams left, they come from the only state that went for Clinton.

I hear conservatives making this stupid argument all the time as if the Democrats of that day were liberal. They like to pretend that both parties ideologies have not changed 180 degrees. But what I find even more funny is the same person who like to claim this are the same people who defend the confederate flag and monuments.

That future FBI directors will be partisans and none will truly last 10 years. They will be out when a new President of the opposite party gets in office.

Is the part where he said that Comey assured him that he was not the target of the investigation. Regardless of the reason that Comey was fired and regardless if people thought it was right or wrong, republicans should be just as concerned with that part. Wouldn't that be illegal for the sitting POTUS and FBI Director to be discussing that?
Susan Collins isn't a moderate
She is just as much a hard core conservative as Ted Cruz. She fakes being a moderate as her statement today shows. And we think she is going to save us on health care?
His supporters and Republicans don't/won't care
If this was Clinton or Obama they would be incensed, but they will defend Trump to the end.
It's like everyone forgot 2009-2017
The media, Republicans, Trump, and his supporters are shocked and appalled with the level of hate and disrespect that Trump is getting. As if they forgot about all the hateful, crazy, and nasty things that were said it about President Obama.
We should treat with just as much respect as Joe Wilson gave Obama when he shouted "You Lie!", or when Alito shook his head and was mouthing off under his breath while Obama was addressing Congress, or when Jan Brewer wave her nasty finger in Obama's face, or when Trump led the birther movement, we can go on and on
