USAFRetired_Liberal's JournalWhat's really sad
Is that Republicans and the MSM are hoping for an American death in Afghanistan so that they can attack Biden even more.
Biden was damned either way
Option 1 - Withdrawal and have the Republicans, MSM, and others complain about letting the taliban win, creating a place for terrorists, leaving allies behind, etc
and see his poll numbers go down
Option 2 - Stay which would have led to the taliban attacking troops and us having to send more troops in and surge and still getting complaints from the same people, but this time saying that we cant be the worlds police, why is Biden starting another war, this will breed more terrorists, our allies need to fight on their own, etc
.and his poll numbers going down
Once this California recall is over
California Democrats have to change it. And they should have changed it once Jerry Brown became Governor in 2011.
#1 the petition should require more than just 12% of signatures of voters who voted in the last election (it needs to be around 25%), #2 if the recall is successful the Lt Gov should become Governor and finish the term or until special election is done to vote in another Governor
the way it is done now a partisan minority can constantly try to recall a governor and be successful in getting a fringe candidate who becomes governor with less than 25% of the vote
Arizona's sham election 'audit' report delayed after Cyber Ninjas CEO and others test positive
California gained 2.3 million people this decade
Which put it at third place behind only Texas and Florida for highest population growth. But because it was already so big it lost a Congressional district
the rules to our Democracy are idiotic sometimes and seem to always favor small states and the minority
.
But also, all this talk about California losing population is also false.

Why is the Covid surge Biden's fault
I have read several articles in the past couple days and they all mention reasons for Bidens decrease in approval. One reason other than Afghanistan is the Covid surge. How in the hell is this his problem, he has encouraged vaccines, masks, and social distancing .if idiots and Republican Governors ignore that advice and Covid surges because of them then its not Bidens fault .its like the arsonists blaming the firefighter for not putting out the fire that they caused while also blocking the hydrant.
media coverage and hysteria over Biden vs Trump
This is Bidens first real terrible event/bad situation/crisis/scandal/or whatever ever you want to call it and has dominated the news for a week with Trump there would have been another disaster to cover in 12 hrs .that was the thing with Trump, so much bad shit happened that the MSM and people just moved on quickly from it because of bad attention spans I remember with Trump, it would be Friday and everyone would be talking about Z, and I would say dang Y happened yesterday, X and W happened Wednesday, V happened Tuesday, U was Monday, and RST was Sunday!
So if Biden did the alternative
Which was to bring in more troops and fight the taliban. The same critics (MSM, Trump, Republicans and even a few democrats) would be saying:
1. Biden is a war monger
2. With Biden its the same old same old politician, always getting us into wars
3. Trump is the only President not to start a conflict
4. The Afghans need to fight for themselves
5. We cant nation build
6. Bring the troops home
7. This is costing us too much money
8. This will breed more terrorists
9. Biden should have brought the remaining troops home
10. What is the exit strategy
11. We cant be there forever
12. Afghanistan is getting more dangerous
13. Richard Engel would have still been there showing how rough it is for the citizens
14. Etc, etc, etc
Why wasn't the release of 5000 taliban prisoners last year a big story
I dont remember hearing it or the media covering it. Thats why I cant stand the media. This story should have been a big deal. The media is so up in arms on what happened this week, where were they last year when this happened?
