"Time to change my beer choice"

When Yuengling owner Richard Yuengling Jr. told Eric Trump on Monday, “Our guys are behind your father,” he likely didn’t predict that he’d soon be facing local bars pulling his beers off tap in protest.

But outrage was swift, and Brian Sims, a Pennsylvania state representative from Philadelphia, quickly called on bars in Philadelphia’s “Gayborhood” to take Yuengling off tap, the New York Times reports. Two bars have agreed so far, and he says he’s going to expand his efforts.

“Everybody understands that the dollars that we now put into the marketplace have the potential to come back at us,” Sims, who is Pennsylvania’s first openly gay legislator, told the Times. “I want my dollars spent in a way that at the very least doesn’t hurt me, and hopefully supports me.”............

Donald Trump Thought Bringing Women Into The Military Created ‘Bedlam’
He has also said that allowing women to serve with men has increased the number of sexual assaults.

Sam Levine Associate Politics Editor, The Huffington Post

.................

“Well, I went to a military academy, which was from a different planet,” Trump said in a 2014 interview with biographer Michael D’Antonio that was obtained by the Times. “We didn’t have women in the academy at that time. Today you have women, which is a whole other story, women in the Army and you see what’s going on. It’s like — it’s like bedlam. It is bedlam.”

“It’s something that people aren’t talking about, but what’s going on is bedlam, bringing women in the Army,” he continued.

The GOP presidential nominee had previously claimed that allowing women to serve with men in the armed forces led to more sexual assaults.

At the September Commander-in-Chief forum, Trump defended the claim, saying, “It is a correct tweet. There are many people that think that’s absolutely correct.” But when he was asked whether women needed to be kicked out of the military to solve the problem of sexual assault, Trump largely avoided the question.......................

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump speaks on stage at a campaign rally in Toledo, Ohio, Oct. 27, 2016.

Donald Trump referred to minority neighborhoods as "ghettos" while speaking at a Toledo, Ohio, rally this afternoon.

"We’re gonna work on our ghettos and so the -- " Trump said, breaking off before going on to list the problems affecting the "inner cities."

"You take a look at what’s going on, you have pockets of areas of land where you have the inner cities, you have so many things, so many problems, so many horrible, horrible problems," he continued.

Trump, who frequently references inner cities when making his appeal to African-American voters, has garnered criticism for how he’s reached out to African-Americans, with whom his support remains low according to all major polls. He often makes his appeals in front of almost all-white crowds, harping on conditions in inner cities, neglecting to appeal to other African-Americans who don’t live in inner cities. ........................

Clinton focuses on helping down-ballot Democrats 03:29

(CNN)The Senate Majority PAC, the super PAC tied to Democratic Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, is putting big bucks in Florida to boost Rep. Patrick Murphy in his race against Sen. Marco Rubio, the group told CNN on Thursday.

"This race is closing," spokesman Shripal Shah told CNN. "Voters know that Marco Rubio is only looking out for himself and they're going to hold him accountable for pushing a self-serving agenda at their expense."

"This afternoon Senate Majority PAC made a seven figure transfer to Floridians for a Strong Middle Class, a Florida based Super PAC supporting Patrick Murphy's campaign. The move comes hours after Senate Majority PAC announced a record fundraising haul -- $19.3 million -- covering the pre-general reporting period (October 1st thru 19th) that will be filed with the FEC today."

Reid had been pushing to go back into Florida but .....................

Conservative James O'Keefe during an interview on Fox Business (Screenshot)

Right-wing video ambush artist James O’Keefe predicts that there will be a “revolt” if Donald Trump ends up losing the election — but it won’t be the kind that involves pitchforks and torches.

Rather, “the people” will choose to revolt in a style more fitting with the 21st Century — by writing mean tweets.

Media Matters notes that during an interview with Alex Jones on Thursday, O’Keefe outlined exactly what would happen if Trump lost the election due to widespread voter fraud. O’Keefe said things would get ugly fast, as red-blooded Americans rushed to express their outrage by spamming Twitter with furious Pepe the Frog memes.

...................................

Fellow Trump supporter Roger Stone then explained to Jones how he planned to document “election fraud” this year by taking his own exit polls at polling places and comparing the results to the final tallies. The biggest concern, he said, wasn’t standard “voter fraud” tactics, but machines switching people’s votes.

Donald Trump says he hand-picked only the best to teach success at Trump University. But dozens of those hired by the company had checkered pasts — including serious financial problems and even convictions for cocaine trafficking or child molestation, an Associated Press investigation has found.

The AP identified 107 people listed as speakers and staff on more than 21,000 pages of customer-satisfaction surveys the Republican presidential nominee has released as part of his defense against three lawsuits.

Trump and his attorneys have said repeatedly that the surveys show the overwhelming majority of participants were satisfied. However, the suits allege his namesake real-estate seminars were a massive fraud designed to "upsell" students into buying course packages costing as much as $35,000.

As a candidate, Trump has said he will run the U.S. government like he runs his businesses. So his past hiring practices could offer insight into how a President Trump might fill scores of key federal positions............................

Donald Trump's research firm is spending $100,000 a week on internal polls that have similar results to public surveys that show him losing.

Brad Parscale, the director of Trump's San Antonio-based digital operation, Project Alamo, made the revelation to Bloomberg Businessweek.

'Nate Silver’s results have been similar to ours,' Parscale said, making reference to architect of the election prediction website FiveThirtyEight, 'except they lag by a week or two because he’s relying on public polls.'.....................
