riversedge's JournalRyan sics Capitol Police on disabled protesters fighting Trumpcare

............................
Members of the group ADAPT, which organizes disability rights activists, were protesting against the American Health Care Act currently being debated in Congress and proposed cuts to Medicaid.
..........................
Trumpcare will cut $880 billion from Medicaid in the next decade. It will force states to have to decide whether to provide healthcare to the elderly in nursing homes, to children, or to the disabled. That's exactly what Paul Ryan wanted to happen.
Taking that almost $900 billion out of Medicaid now gives him the chance to give even deeper tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations in the tax legislation he has coming up next.
He says thatloud and clear: "And so yes, it is important that we get this [the health plan] done so that we can do tax reform. Because this bill also takes out about $900 billion in tax increases, the Obamacare tax increases are taken out which makes it $900 billion easier to reform the tax code afterwards ... Thats why this is really important.".....................................

Trump (and who ever else in the WH) should have know better and told Numes NOT to tell them
any information he had as Chair of the Intel. Committee.
Nunes was Wrong and the Trump was Wrong. And so is Ryan--. First, Nunes went to Ryan (I do not know what was said-but Ryan was informed)-then Numes trotted over to the WH.
This whole issue demands that Nunes Resign as Chair. Shame on him.

@LukeRussert 5. Nunes acting on a "source" seems to have used his extremely important position to give Trump light cover on a manic tweet.

@LukeRussert @DevinNunes ran to WH because he found out he (Nunes) was intercepted, as well. He was on Transition Team.

Nunes' pathetic charade blew what little credibility he had left. All it proves is that he's running a protection racket for Trump's ego.

Bannons origin story doesnt add up
Interesting.
And I agree. How would less regulation help him?
Bannons origin story doesnt add up

White House chief strategist Stephen Bannon. (Jim Bourg/Reuters)
By Richard Cohen Opinion writer March 20
It is a story oft-repeated and, at first, quite moving. It is the story of Marty Bannon, father of the White House chief strategist, Stephen K. Bannon, and how he lost much of his nest egg when the financial system cratered in 2008. He had worked for AT&T for 50?years, buying the stock when it was as safe as gold (only gold paid no dividend) and was now watching it go south at such an alarming rate that he decided to sell it. In a flash, the system turned on Marty and a lifetime of savings was gone. For his son Steve, it was an unforgettable lesson. It made him the revolutionary he is today.
The story reappeared last week in the Wall Street Journal. ....................
That day, that October day when Marty Bannon panicked and took Jim Cramers advice from the TV and sold his AT&T stock, was when Steve Bannon had an epiphany: Everything since then has come from there, he said.
This could be Sen. Bernie Sanders speaking. This could be the indignant writers of the 2015 movie The Big Short, which ended by noting that almost no one went to jail for the giant scam. I also think of New York City cab drivers, many of them immigrants, who leveraged themselves for three generations to buy a cab and now have had their investment gutted by Uber. This is the human cost of disruption, which, if you dont happen to be poor and drive a cab, is supposedly a wonderful thing.
....................
At some point in the Steve Bannon story I started wondering:.........................
But Bannons administrative state boogeyman is not what flattened his fathers nest egg. It was not excessive regulation that fleeced his father or, for that matter, changed AT&T from Ma Bell into just another business behemoth. Go home, Steve. You need to think.
Hannity just said on his radio show--Trump has been vindicated and
people are just splitting hairs when they bring up that Trump blamed Obama for wire taping him!
I had gone on an errand-I turned the station after a minute of that crap. No doubt it is a RW talking point by now. damn!
U.S. steel mills question Trumps Buy America talk as Russian competition revives N.J. community

The Russians are coming to New Jersey three times a month, with huge shipments of steel.
Far from being unwelcome, NLMK short for Novolipetsk Steel has been greeted with open arms by New Jersey officials, who credit the Russian mega-firm with revitalizing a moribund Paulsboro port and creating more than 100 local jobs.
On March 2, 10 leaders fired off a letter to the White House voicing their collective support for the Buy America standard that covers tax-payer funded federal infrastructure projects.
President Trump's "Buy America" talk has given hope to U.S. steel makers. But some worry it won't stop foreign competition from operating in the U.S.
With Trump talking of a $1 trillion investment in Americas public works, U.S. steel makers want the President to keep the 1982 Ronald Reagan law as it is requiring that steel be melted and poured in the U.S. to qualify as American-made.
