Mueller Finds No Trump-Russia Conspiracy but Stops Short of Exonerating President on Obstruction of Justice
March 24, 2019
WASHINGTON The investigation led by Robert S. Mueller III found that neither President Trump nor any of his aides conspired or coordinated with the Russian governments 2016 election interference, according to a summary of the special counsels findings made public on Sunday by Attorney General William P. Barr.
Mr. Barr also said that Mr. Muellers team drew no conclusions about whether Mr. Trump illegally obstructed justice. Mr. Barr and the deputy attorney general, Rod J. Rosenstein, concluded that the special counsels investigators lacked sufficient evidence to establish that Mr. Trump committed that offense, but added that Mr. Muellers team stopped short of exonerating Mr. Trump.......................

I looked at a few headlines and generally only the first part about No conspiracy is printed (not the no exonerating of Obstruction).
"This is a developing story. The New York Times will be examining the findings. Check back for updates."

Fox News pastor: Christians who follow Trump are spiritually superior to other believers
Source: raw story
24 Mar 2019 at 13:47 ET
Texas megachurch pastor Robert Jeffress, a Fox News contributor, said on Sunday that Christian followers of President Donald Trump tend to have deeper convictions than other believers.
While appearing on Fox & Friends, Jeffress dismissed a poll that showed a drop in the number of people who call themselves evangelicals.
According to the Texas pastor, Trump has nothing to worry about because evangelicals show up in larger numbers at the ballot box than other religious groups.
n the poll were talking about today, Jeffress said, even though the evangelical number has dropped as a whole, the number of evangelicals turning out at the ballot box is greater than other groups, and its because evangelicals have deeper convictions. They believe in absolute moral and spiritual truth, and they tend to vote those convictions at the ballot box.

Republican Lawmakers prove they have no morals by not condemning Trump for McCain comments...
I certainly was no fan of McCain's political views for the most part, but I do respect his service to the country and for the Repugs to remain silent is so disgusting to me. They really ARE afraid of Trump and his cyber-bullying. Yes. the Repugs ARE!
Republicans privately say there's little upside to speaking up against Trump in McCain dispute. Some up for reelect like Gardner and Tillis didn't respond to requests for comment, while others offered muted responses, hoping it will pass. w/@tedbarrettcnn

Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers (D) on Friday removed 82 appointments made by his predecessor, Gov. Scott Walker (R), during last year's lame-duck legislative session.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported that Evers's decision comes just a day after Dane County Circuit Judge Richard Niess invalidated the confirmation of Walker's appointments during a December overnight session.
Niess said Thursday that he was voiding all appointments and legislation passed during the December session, stating that lawmakers convened the session in a way that violated the states constitution, according to the news outlet.

Evers announced Thursday that Wisconsin would no longer be a part of a multistate lawsuit seeking the repeal of the Affordable Care Act. The two had been prevented from getting out of the lawsuit because of one lame-duck measure.

A Colorado man has been arrested for allegedly throwing a glass of water on Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa).
Local officials said 26-year-old Blake Gibbins, of Lafayette, Colo., was arrested for throwing water at the lawmaker shortly after noon on Friday at the Mineral City Mill and Grill in Fort Dodge, Iowa.
King was reportedly eating a group lunch when Gibbons approached the table and allegedly threw water, hitting King and those at lunch.
Authorities said Gibbins was arrested and charged with simple assault and disorderly conduct.

Fresno Republicans to reschedule annual dinner after Nunes-Twitter beef explodes
Source: fre
March 22, 2019 03:58 PM,
The Fresno County Republican Party canceled plans for its Lincoln Reagan dinner next month featuring Rep. Devin Nunes, R-Tulare, as its keynote speaker after social media calls for people to crash the event.
The local GOP is working to reschedule the event, organizers confirmed to The Bee on Friday. The dinner was also slated to honor former Rep. David Valadao and former state Sen. Andy Vidak, who each lost re-election bids in November.
The event was removed from the Republicans website and Facebook on Thursday.
Its unclear if the social media frenzy led to the GOPs decision. Chairman Fred Vanderhoof could not be reached for comment on Friday. Late Friday afternoon, the county GOP tweeted that the event will be rescheduled for security reasons.

Whatever the special counsel concluded, expect the president to fight. And perhaps spark a constitutional crisis.
By JEFF GREENFIELD
March 22, 2019
There are any number of ways that the Mueller report, which has been delivered as of Friday to Attorney General William Barr, could become the most anticlimactic event since Gerald Rivera drilled open Al Capones vault. It could summarize the many crimes and misdemeanors committed by a platoon of Donald Trumps band of brothers and sisters; it could point to the many acts of the president to deflect the investigation into Russian collusion; it could note the presidents campaign to discredit Muellers own probe. It could do none of that and simply note that the special counsel has concluded that he has charged every crime he thinks has a reasonable chance of successful prosecution, and thats that.
So far, all we know per an anonymous Justice Department briefer is that the report is comprehensive; that Mueller got everything he asked for; and that the special counsel is recommending no further indictments.
That hasnt stopped Trumpworld from declaring victory. Donald Trump, Jr., the presidents son, is gloating on Twitter. Mark Meadows, the South Carolina Tea Partyer who has emerged as Trumps fiercest enforcer on Capitol Hill, has declared a premature verdict of no collusionas if that squishy term carries any legal weight whatsoever. And surely the president will declare victory no matter what it says.
Thats all the normal cut and thrust of politics, as much as anything can be normal in the Trump age. But there is one way in which Muellers report, the main conclusions of which will likely go public this weekend, could mark the beginning of a genuinely consequential crisis. If it offers evidence of potentially criminal ormore likely impeachable conduct by the president, it could set either the courts or the House Judiciary Committee on a course to demand evidence Trump has no intention of providing................................
