.............The victims of Trump's latest uncovered redactions posted on February 6th are Newsweek and writer Ewan Palmer. The original article titled, “Donald Trump Backed by Texans to Secure Border,” can be found on Newsweek's webpage here, and Trump’s redacted version posted to Truth Social can be found below.

Trump manipulated Newsweek article

..................

Trump scrubbed the following unfavorable items from his manipulated Newsweek article, including border statistics unfavorable to himself:

1) A survey indicating that only "50 percent of eligible voters in Texas said they would trust the frontrunner in the GOP primary to secure the southern border"

2) 28 percent of those polled believe "the [federal] government and the Texas state government share equal blame" for the border

3).........................

Trump scrubbed border statistics indicating that he isn't fully trusted by all Texans to secure the border and that Texas is to partially blame for the border situation. Trump also apparently doesn't like his readers knowing he was contacted by Newsweek for comment.

..................... Once again, Trump’s actions move beyond censorship, creating “fake news” propaganda that changes the original work of reporters to hide information from his Truth Social followers.

Nationwide, about 12 percent of most recent norovirus tests sent to the CDC were positive, but the proportion was about 16 percent in the Northeast, the agency said. That compares with nearly 10 percent of norovirus tests in the Midwest and South and nearly 13 percent in the West.

Characterized by the sudden onset of vomiting, diarrhea and general feelings of misery, .................

................

Norovirus can spread from person to person, in food or water or on contaminated surfaces. Because it’s so contagious, one handshake or a the touch of a contaminated door knob or handrail can be enough to cause illness, experts said.
.....................

Illness caused by norovirus typically starts suddenly, in what Schaffner called “a strikingly dramatic way.” A person can go from slightly unwell to miserable within hours.
......................

There is no medication to treat norovirus. ....................

Writer E. Jean Carroll's lawyers urge judge to reject Trump's request to postpone $83.3M jury award

NEW YORK -- Lawyers for E. Jean Carroll urged a judge Thursday to reject former President Donald Trump’s efforts to avoid posting security to secure an $83.3 million defamation award won by the writer, saying his promises to pay a judgment his lawyers predict will be overturned on appeal are the equivalent of scribbles on a paper napkin.

“The reasoning Trump offers in seeking this extraordinary relief boils down to nothing more than ‘trust me,’” the lawyers wrote in a submission to U.S. District Judge Lewis A. Kaplan, who presided over a trial that ended late last month with the hefty judgment.

Since then, a Manhattan state judge has imposed a $454 million civil fraud penalty against the Republican presidential front-runner after concluding that Trump, his company and top executives, including sons Eric and Donald Trump Jr., schemed for years to cheat banks and insurers by inflating his wealth on financial statements used to secure loans and make deals. An appellate judge on Wednesday refused to halt collection of the award.

Last week, Trump's lawyers asked Kaplan to suspend the defamation award, citing a “strong probability” that it would be reduced or eliminated on appeal.......................
