littlemissmartypants's JournalI love Wendy. She has to win. Those electoral votes are critical for '16.
I am now addicted to politics.
Gee thanks, DU. I wasn't this crazed crusader until I meet DU.
Thanks for your reply, Dustlawyer. It means more than I can say. All the best to you.

I have a theory.
The general public is exhausted. Starvation, underemployed/unemployment and poverty have us so beat down, we can't think.
There's no time to keep up with the truth or the lies when you are trying to run a household, hoping to find the time and money to get to town to the food bank (on the one day it is open) and then to the doctor, to get birth control or medicine for the kids, all while bumming a ride with your crazy cousin that requires gas money or she will not give you a ride.
Logistics alone are time consuming and exhausting. Just ask your mother.
Notwithstanding the MSM is just a propaganda machine on free Tee Vee, which is all you can afford... unless you trade your EBT card for cash to pay your cable bill, which is now $300, because you were late last month.
I have learned buckets on my one woman voter registration drive around my world. Buckets for a lifetime. This Friday at 1700, that drive ends for me for 2014. I know that I have done my small part and I pray to Gawd that hearts and minds have been opened by my efforts.

After years in the medical field I can tell you "death by dementia"
Is slow and painful. Most patients with advanced stage dementia die from pneumonia. Drowning in their own secretions. And I do not recommend tube feeding for them at any level or stage of the diagnosis. Now how would you prefer to die?
Courage.
Courage is more exhilarating than fear and in the long run it is easier. We do not have to become heroes overnight. Just a step at a time, meeting each thing that comes up, seeing it is not as dreadful as it appeared, discovering we have the strength to stare it down.
Eleanor Roosevelt
All the best to you and your family.

My adoptive father taught me that to see things means
S: significant
E: emotional
E: experience
If it doesn't make a unique impact, it won't be learned.
So, the answer is no. I think you did it with your heart in the right place.
