He was not pleased that he got so little air time, though what he was offering was boring.
She's only been a widow for about 2 weeks, and his death an unexpected one, too.
The grief is still so fresh; all her dreams of a happy life with her husband and children so newly snatched away from her.
May she never again be made a spectacle for the benefit of anyone else

Lent and denial. - I've never been very good at the denial part. I usually forget and break down very quickly, just like with New Year's resolutions.
I tell myself I'll do the positive stuff, rather than denial.
Not so great at that either.

Interesting that my car beeps when I don't have my seatbelt on, or when a door or
trunk is not sufficiently closed, but nothing happens when something much more dangerous occurs in the car - use of cellphone by driver when car is in motion.
Can someone invent a device to eliminate this problem - something that would send an alarm that maybe everyone in the car & outside could hear?
Something like the loud beep of a truck backing up?

According to an article in the Columbus Dispatch, a table of women
who were not Republicans was refused admission to Portman's event although they had purchased tickets. (Purchase price was refunded, I believe.)
