Artist, teacher, free-spirit. I love animals and nature and even most people. Political junkie since 9/11/01 Long time DU lurker Gave up TV just in time for the onslaught of political ads. One year without and I don't miss it. I'm learning things and making more art plus I live on the river so any time by the water does the soul/body good. I'm lucky to have a progressive Mother since the rest of the family leans republican. They do respect our Mom and don't talk politics at family events. peace and love.
