Rev. Carl Gallups, who gave rousing invocation at Donald Trump rally, is a Sandy Hook truther,....

says grieving parents are nothing more than Hollywood actors

The Rev. Carl Gallups preaches from both sides of his mouth: He endorses Donald Trump, yet denies the slaughter of 26 innocents at Sandy Hook Elementary School.

Gallups, who delivered the a rousing invocation at Florida rally for The Donald in January, is a so-called “truther” who insists not a single person was killed three years ago in Newtown, Conn.

Not one of the 20 murdered first-graders. And not one of the six executed staffers, including those who gave their lives protecting the helpess kids.

Gallups claims not a single bullet was fired on Dec. 14, 2012, when officials report there were 154 shots.

In a radio show earlier this year, Gallups suggested that David and Francine Wheeler — parents of slain 6-year-old Ben — were “Hollywood actors” hired by the nation’s gun control advocates.

“This guy named David Wheeler, who was dragged before the nation ... by Obama after the Newtown school shootings, supposedly, Sandy Hook, and played the part of a grieving father with a woman standing beside him, crying, slinging snot,” said Gallups.

“This guy, he and his so-called wife, are standing up there and they’re grieving, and ‘My child, my child, this and that, we gotta get take the guns.’ ... This dude is a Hollywood actor, his so-called wife is a Hollywood actor.”

There was no immediate response from the Trump campaign, which recently came under fire after former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke spoke highly of the billionaire developer.

Trump released a statement expressing his delight after Gallups and five others announced their support of his run for the Republican presidential nomination.

“It is my great honor to receive endorsements from each of these incredible people,” said Trump. “Their support for my message and endorsement of my candidacy ... means so much to me.”

Gallups was described in a Trump news release as an author, radio and television talk show host and the senior pastor of the Hickory Hammock Baptist Church. Gallups was unavailable for comment Tuesday.

On the same radio broadcast where Gallups denounced the Wheelers, his guest made reference to the Boston Marathon bombing as “the Boston Hoaxathon” and insisted the Obama family was a CIA plant in the White House.

With the Florida primary just a week away, Gallups is spreading the gospel of Trump among his fellow conservative Christians.

“We’re not electing a priest, a pope or a pastor,” Gallups told The Associated Press. “We’re electing a president, a CEO, a commander in chief. I’m not perfectly happy with Donald Trump either, but I’m a realist.”

he finally went there: Donald Trump's 47% comment moment

Donald Trump's 47 Percent Moment

The GOP front-runner blasts Mitt Romney's infamous remarks. But he recently suggested 50 percent of Americans are deadbeats.

"The problem we have right now—we have a society that sits back and says we don't have to do anything. Eventually, the 50 percent cannot carry—and it's unfair to them—but cannot carry the other 50 percent."--Donald Trump

Medgar Evers’ Brother Endorses Donald Trump for President *faints*

The 93-year-old brother of the murdered civil rights icon says he believes in Trump “because he’s a businessman.”

Charles Evers, the brother of murdered civil rights leader and icon Medgar Evers, has endorsed Donald Trump for president.

“I believe in him first of all because he’s a businessman,” Evers said to the Clarion-Ledger. “I think jobs are badly needed in Mississippi.”

Evers’ brother, Medgar Evers, was the first field secretary for the NAACP in Mississippi, an investigator into the death of Emmett Till and prominent desegregationist who was assassinated in his driveway in Jackson, Miss., in 1963.

Although Charles Evers, 93, also has a storied history in Mississippi’s civil rights movement—he was also the state’s NAACP field secretary and the first black mayor in Mississippi post-Reconstruction—he became a Republican in 1980 and endorsed Ronald Regan for president that year.

Evers said, “I haven’t seen any proof of [Trump] being a racist. All of us have some racism in us. Even me.”

Evers then referenced a recent proclamation by Mississippi Gov. Phil Bryant declaring April "Confederate Heritage Month” and said that Trump was not endorsing such overt acts of racism.

Evers added that he respects Trump’s religious faith and that he hopes to meet him in person during a Monday rally in Madison, Miss.

Mississippi’s GOP presidential primary is next Tuesday.

*Charles Evers is a registered republican who also endorsed Reagan and, both Bushes.*

No 'Apprentice' alliance as Arnold Schwarzenegger snubs Donald Trump, endorses John Kasich

BY ADAM EDELMAN NEW YORK DAILY NEWS Thursday, March 3, 2016, 5:28 PM

The new host of the “The Apprentice” is helping to take down the old host of “The Apprentice.”

Former California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger formally threw his support to GOP presidential candidate John Kasich, scheduling an appearance with the Ohio governor at a weekend rally in Columbus.

DONALD TRUMP WILL 'MAKE AMERICA LESS SAFE,' EXPERTS WARN

Schwarzenegger had previously personally donated the maximum $2,700 to Kasich’s campaign.

The 68-year-old former actor was tapped last fall to replace 2016 GOP front-runner Donald Trump as the new host of NBC’s “The Celebrity Apprentice.”

NBC cut ties with the mogul not long after he launched his 2016 presidential campaign in June 2016, with a speech in which he blasted illegal immigrants as drug-pushers and “rapists.”

Denmark says they would have to reconsider their relationship with the U.S. if Trump is POTUS

http://www.thelocal.dk/20160302/danish-fm-trump-changes-opinions-like-underwear

Danish FM: Trump changes opinions like underwear
Published: 02 Mar 2016 10:22 GMT+01:00

One of the many Danes to weigh in on the results was Foreign Minister Kristian Jensen, who painted Tuesday’s big winner on the Republican side, brash businessman Donald Trump, as a unpredictable wild card who could be difficult to work with should be become president.

“Trump is really like pulling a raffle ticket – and we’d pull a new one every morning. It would be an amazing roller coaster ride if Trump wins,” Jensen told broadcaster DR.

Several Danish politicians have previously slammed Trump for some of his more outrageous statements and even warned that if he were to assume the White House, Denmark would have to reconsider its relationship with the United States.

In his analysis of the Super Tuesday results, in which Trump won seven of 11 states, Jensen said that if Trump is sworn in as the 45th president, it would definitely impact the two nations’ relationship.

“It would have a major impact on the US’s stability and cooperation. Because Trump is completely unpredictable. It would be much, much more difficult to work with the US. Because you’d never know what he will believe tomorrow,” the foreign minister said.

“He changes opinions like the rest of us change underwear,” Jensen added.

Jensen said that Denmark would be much more comfortable if Tuesday’s winner on the Democratic side, Hillary Clinton, is the Americans’ choice come November.

“There is no doubt that it would be much easier with Hillary in the White House than Donald Trump,” he said.

“We know Hillary. We’ve known her as secretary of state and as a politician for many years. We know what she stood for when she was in the White House with her husband,” Jensen said.

Six N.J. newspapers call on Christie to resign

Corrections and clarifications: This post has been updated to correct the number of newspapers joining in the editorial.

Six New Jersey newspapers issued a joint editorial Tuesday calling on Gov. Chris Christie to resign in the wake of his failed presidential campaign and his subsequent endorsement of rival Donald Trump.

The six newspapers including the Asbury Park Press, the Cherry Hill Courier-Post and the Morristown Daily Record — all Gannett-owned papers that are part of the USA TODAY NETWORK — were apparently spurred to editorial outrage by a Monday press conference in which Christie refused to answer questions about anything other than his nomination of a state Supreme Court judge. Asked why, Christie replied, "Because I don't want to."

"We’re fed up with Gov. Chris Christie’s arrogance," the papers wrote. "We’re fed up with his opportunism. We’re fed up with his hypocrisy."

The joint editorial notes that Christie spent part of 261 days out of state last year and traveled out of state to endorse Trump and campaign with him after he quit the race Feb. 10.

"For the good of the state, it’s time for Christie to do his long-neglected constituents a favor and resign as governor. If he refuses, citizens should initiate a recall effort," the editorial said.
